Just wondering where you all take your internet sourced cars when you need warranty work done?

Which isn't necessarily the same as the retailer.

So what brand never breaks down??

Of course most machines will have problems at some stage, it's just most people would expect them to last more than a year. My heavily used LG washing machine has been excellent with no problems in 3 years.

Anyway judging by your user name I assume the afore mentioned Indesit and Hotpoint machines put a lot of business your way.

No. But there is a dealership network that makes it seamless. Select distribution networks....

Won't the retailer use the manufacturer as their repairers anyway...with the same call out charges?
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
    Now 20% cooler

Which is the same as a washing machine manufacturers network of engineers.

The point I am making (and which you are fully aware) is that you are arguing for a different approach to cars whilst I would argue there really should be no difference.

In the first two years (sometimes more) of new car ownership you rely on the "manufacturer's" warranty, which will in most cases be supplied by the retailer but not always. So why do people accept that in the motor industry but not in the whitegoods industry?
