  • Afternoon everyone

    Oooh great content today :)

Think I've done my list for the day:

    Checked banking
    Put 10 things on ebay
    Emailed friends around the world
    Done a bit of housework

Will do the surveys in a bit, been watching the news. Scary stuff !!!
Having people over tonight for meal and first bbq of the year tomorrow

Think that's all for the lists, now me..... I'm 27, a woman most days apart for the first hour or so of the day when I'm a bit of a monster (or so DH says!!)
Live in Reading with my DH and little mountain of debt ;)
Would love to travel the world when debt free and buy a little place of our own, then be very sensible with money but live comfortably!! Not much.

Hope everyone has a good day!!

And Happy Birthday Karb, hope you have a fantastic day!!

  • Hi everyone! Hope the day is going well. I went to town to pay a cheque into the savings account. And the car broke down in Lidls car park! Why does it never rain but it pours! So I had a bimble round Lidls whilst OH sorted out car. He's been on phone to garage since we got home, managed to get it started, and its booked in for tomorrow. I've already spent £400 on MY car this month now we have to do his. Thank goodness I've started trying to control our finances otherwise goodness only knows what we would do! But would rather be putting this money to the debt / savings / whatever than the cars!

I am old. Just turned 37. Can't believe how young you all are! I am a girl. I like being a girl. I have two little cats and a husband. I live in Kent. I work too hard! I love Martin Lewis. He is my hero. I love saving money and budgeting. After years of spending money like its going out of fashion, some mine, some the banks, I now think about every penny I spend and whether they deserve my hard earned cash!

Hope your day is going better than mine xx

    My little list for today....
    • Took lunch to work apart from a can of pop bought at the corner shop
    • Walked dog for free exercise
    • Stuck to diet so far - but have just bought a bottle of wine (my first in 3 weeks, very good for me)
    • Do 1 wash - whites - and dry naturally
    • Finish shopping list and meal plan ready for trip to Mr T's tomorrow
    • Stay in tonight
    • Have something from freezer/cupboard for tea
    • Dyed hair yesterday to save me a trip to the hairdressers and £50 - came out surprisingly ok:T
    • Checked bank - roll on Tuesday (payday)
