Happy birthday, Karb! I’ve been off the thread for a day or two as I’ve been home sick from work. I may actually head home early today as Im not feeling great today either. Today I:
- Upped pension contribution to 7%.... mortal coil and all that!
- Told my landlady that I’m leaving
- Followed up with HR on my never appearing new contract
- Plans for this evening cancelled (OH had an invitation to the Gerkin but they’ve moved it to later in the month)
- May beg out of dinner plans as my friends new baby is coming and I don’t want to give it my cold
- Meal plan as didn’t yesterday
- Check banking and update budget
- Call up financial times as they took £117 from my account (sorted, they’ll give it back. Whew!)
Is everyone else as glued to the Japan earthquake / Tsunami as I am? It really makes all of my little issues seem so small.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000Debt free as of 1 October, 2010

Well there's me for a start
Nice to clear these things up, Karb(I had sussed this as I'm sure you've mentioned your wife, although clearly some women have wives too...:p)
DNMS - I think it's about time you did another 'getting to know you' investigative mission. Last time I think it was what age are you and who do you live with;)
Shall I start??? I'm female, 28 (for one more month) and live with my hubby and a fish tank of fish (realised I never mention these on the thread ever - hubby generally takes care of them.)
Horrible pics coming from Japan. Crikey.0 -
*Hops on the bandwagon*
I'm female, 23 for a couple more weeks...eek! & I live with my fiance & 2 female bunnies who are sometimes referred to as "the babies", although sometimes I think a baby would be less work :rotfl: They are cheeky little things when they want to be...for example, yesterday one of them decided to jump through a teeny gap in the makeshift run we made for them, (cue "crazy" lady running around the garden after her, & talking to her, asking her to please stay still so I can get her back home...) I'm seriously considering changing her name to Houdini!:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
:dance:Current Debt: £0 :j
100% paid off!

Aww what fun! Im jealous of your bunnies, Pernie.
I'm also 23 (for a while yet!), live with my OH of the last 6 years and will shortly be moving to Kampala for work, where I will probably find a shared house or a small flat just for me. No pets sadly, still a bit too footloose!
Can we add what our debt free dream is? Mine is to keep saving while overseas and hopefully have a deposit for a flat back home in New York by the time I’m 28 or sohey a girl can dream…
