I have varied luck with these. Sometimes the mixture is too dry so I've been putting a small tub of yoghurt in the mix and using dark chocolate. The last batch was delish.0

That sounds good kittykat, thanks. I was thinking of using plain choc next time, will try the yoghurt too.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -
Tried these on Friday and made my second batch today. You can slightly taste the Weetabix but they are so yummy and much easier than normal brownies which I have never yet made successfully, and I'm quite god at cakes and things!
Variations: Didn't have milk chocolate, so used plain chocolate - very nice indeed.
Today's variation: added an extra egg, so they were more moist and set better. Then sprinkled the top with chopped walnuts before cooking for that authentic brownie flavour - very good. Also did mix of plain and milk chocolate.
May try adding raisins and chopped nuts to the mixture another time. Am trying them out at work tomorrow so will see how they go down.
Could also soak raisins in brandy or rum for extra boozy brownies!
Great recipe anyway...0 -
Im Going To Make Some In The Morning, Thought Id Add A Touch Of Spice, Cherries And Brandy.. To Make Christmas Brownies !!! Will Let You Know How They Turn Outslimmimg world weight loss 6lbs

I made these yesterday, and they went down really well, between the 3 of us, there's 2 little pieces left
. I cooked them in an 8in round loose bottom cake tin.
I couldn't be bothered to chop up the chocolate as I only had a 100g value bar in cupboard. So I broke the chocolate into biggish squares and melted it in the microwave then added it to the mixture at the same time as the melted butter.... Yummy.0 -

Thanks for this tip catowen, I tried it yesterday and they came out really well - ideal for putting in my dd's lunchbox (if they last that long!)"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
