I'm another one that would say potato masher except that the worst has already happened as mine broke a few months back. I've since bought 2 new ones and neither have the comfortable grip that the old one had

I have a favorite skillet that I use everyday, usually more than twice a day. It is the only one that I will use. It is my smallest one and no matter what I am making I try to cram everything into it. I am always washing it because I don't know what I would do without it! Hoping that I never lose it or ruin it beyond the point of use!0

I've got my grannies wooden potato masher,the type that looks like a rounded mallet and is made from one piece of wood.
It makes lovely mash.
I also could'nt do without my wonderfully sharp cooks knife,life would be awful without it.0
