Portaventura in Spain...fantastic place, we went with our 6 year old last summer and we all had a fab time....book the hotel portaventura tru direct holiday as this is on the complex and you get free entry to the park and waterpark..:j

Can i ask when you say you get free entry to the theme park and waterpark does this mean for the rides aswell or do you pay for this seperately?

We have booked for the portaventura hotel and it states that entry to theme and waterpark free but i wasnt sure if you still pay for the tickets to g on the rides? Anyone know?

The entry ticket is for unlimited use of all the rides and viewing of the shows. The waterpark is included in the hotel stays except in the Summer hols when it is only money off the entrance price. The only thing you can pay extra for, is if you want is to get fast track passes to save queuing for rides at the theme park when it is busy. I seem to remember at the waterpark you had to pay for lockers (so just go in your swim wear and pop back to the hotel after to change before going into the theme park) and some deck chair seating but the chairs around the pool that had the splashing buckets were free.

Forgot to give you extra tips such as bring a plastic card such as one of those ones you can pick up at B&Q etc as you need to leave a key card in the slot inside the door to operate the power. To keep your room air conditioned in hot weather, just slot another card in it whilst out, so you don't come back to a stuffy room. I would also have a look at the review websites are often people put up to date tips-that is where we discovered that you can get pool towels by leaving a deposit when we went.

Thankyou Susancs, not spending as much money as i thought now :)

There were far cheaper hotels available in salou but i went for this one for the easy access to the park, looks like its well worth the price now thanks again.
