The only bank charges I've had were from before 6 years ago so no claims for me.
Hi to all fellow Scots, & everyone else on this thread.
I haven't got started on my charges yet... but did I not read we can go much further back in Scotland but the amount we can claim if lower, meaning we need more claims? (depending on charges, of course)0 -
Anyone been to the Xmas markets in Edinburgh this year?
Off to the far east tomorrow and hoping to pick up something interesting/differnt there. We all evolve - get on with it0 -

To answer my own question about the markets in Edinburgh - Yes I have been and nothing special.
If you want to wander round drinking hot mulled wine, eating sausages then absolutely fine but apart from that I was pretty disappointed. No screaming bargains to be had, and it was unplesantly busy. Saturday afternoon mind you.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Went to the christmas markets last year. All I managed to get was a pair of earrings...........for myself! So much for the hope I'd get a few presents there.
If anyone is totally skint and is looking for a present for a whisky lover then get them a hipflask from Poundland! Yep they have lovely stainless steel 5oz hipflasks that come in a clear perspex box. Looks a lot more than a quid!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
