luminated.

You have had the answers to the thread you need. You didn't like some of the advice and you were rude. People "thank" posts because they agree with the posts or find them useful.

Now you have had your advice and continue to snipe. Can you not see why your posting style gets under peoples skin?

Suggest we all the OP to it and his 16K.

How about no longer being masochistic?
How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?

I refer to my quotes in posts 30 & 32. Why do you and others keep on being so judgemental. The legislation says when people have £15,999 they are entitled to claim so why would you wish to get on your soapbox and expect me to be bullied into agreeing with you that this figure is to high.

You keep going on about the 15.99K limit. No one disagrees that this is the limit nor your entitlement to claim.

What people don't like is your arrogant attitude and "holy than thou" attitude to benefit claiming (quoting your >16K savings!).

I regret the need to have defended myself so vocally.

I regret it as I feel I may have added to the aggressive tone of the board to which I have alluded.

I thank all who have given me, and the many others on other posts, the genuine help wanted.

I will refrain from further posts on this thread as all I seem to be doing is fueling the fire.

Your opinion but I stick with my posts in full. Why don't you re-read the forum rules - this extract is interesting is it not?

There's also sometimes a "this is our board" attitude that seems to not want new posters coming in and ruining a pre-established clique.
To be utterly clear - both of these go against the philosophy of this site.
MoneySaving should be fun. Everyone using these boards is here for the same reason, to save money. The site's motto is "Please be nice to other MoneySavers". If you see someone being rude to newbies please report them to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

It also says "Be nice to all Moneysavers", which calling one of them "pathetic" seems to contravene.

I don't comment very much..but is anyone else thinking 'wind up' or 'Andy'?

The 'stress' of having over 16k in savings and maybe having to fill out forms for free money must make you lose sleep at night.. *sigh*

dmg, ONW and D70 are entitled to their opinions, and if they don't want to pat you on the head and say 'there, there' then they are quite entitled to. You post on a public forum-deal with the 'public' replies.

Not Andy, I've already spotted him (female beginning with 'S' and ending in numbers). Have already retracted the inadvertent thanks I gave him on the D&D board.
Just in case you were wondering (some have)..... I'm a woman!

The "Daily Mail group"? - you jest!

(Mind you, I expect luminated's pleased that you've just joined so that you can support him.)
