  • Hi,
well so far I'm doing fab - but saying that, since I had my LBM last week I've barely spent anything that wasn't a necessity (except 2 chocolate bars on their sell-by date for 50p!), and have only £22 in the bank to last another week so I'll not likely be buying anything frivolous!! Maybe treat myself to a £2.50 bottle of wine from Aldi at the weekend when my daughter stays at her nans... :j

Please can you add me onto your list Tondella.

I've already got writing everything down sorted as have been doing that for a while (makes me sound really sad and anal!!) But to help others, I would say that once you're into this habit, it really helps and gets a bit addictive.

It really is worth doing as its a good habit to get into.

Looking forward to the next flylady tip!

    Chris!

Well done for being debt free.

Surely it's just as much a good idea to join the DFW boards to remain debt free??

  • Hi

Since I joined dfw I've been writing down every penny I spend - been a real eye opener:eek: . I have a spreadsheet and list individual items in one column with total value in another. tbh after 3 months, I've decided my spreadsheet isn't upto the job so am in process of re-designing. Anyone with any good (easy to use) spreadsheets they want to share?

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
