  • This voucher is not in fact a voucher but a discount code and so needs to be entered into the discount code box.

Groupon was misleading in calling it a 'voucher'.

As it is a discount code it cannot be used on sale items or with any other discounts such as NUS.

You also cannot return any items, you may only exchange them.

Bit of a misleading campaign, but still a good deal if there is something you want on Asos and you know you will not return it!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thought this was a fabulous deal as I shop from asos anyway, I did exactly as autumngirl did/suggested and got my OH to buy the deal through my referral and got the £6 credit which I'm saving for another good deal I bought 2 pairs of gorgeous tights and a belt for £25( + free P&P) ( £20 voucher and £5 that I had in my ebay account ) I had no problems using my discount code which you have to enter in the discount code box! Simple thanks again OP:D x
LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT
  • My Asos items arrived & am very happy with them .. Got a Paprika dress which is lovely quality - Can't wait to wear it & a lovely summer top which looks even better than in the picture!

Thanks OP and well done Groupon and Asos - Love these deals!!

I've had my voucher code through and entered in the correct field but it's saying it's not valid or have expired?! Have one full price £45 dress in the basket so I don't see why it should be invalid?!

Anyone else had this problem? Have e-mailed Groupon AND ASOS. Not happy.

Does anyone know if you can use the Diet Coke voucher too?

The same thing happened to me! Groupon didn't even email me the code out, I just suddenly remembered I'd bought one and so I looked on my account only just yesterday and found it there, saying it is valid from 11 March till 10 April 2011. Pretty annoyed.

Now I've only got like a week to use the voucher and ASOS and Groupon have been absolutely crap at sorting it out. ASOS is the worst customer service I have ever experienced (along with BHS, they are crap at responding to customer enquiries) as they don't even seem to have brains. They just skim over what you actually wrote and spurt out a generic response so that they can meet their target time for replying to enquiries. If they spent less time worrying about that then they'd no doubt be producing some better quality responses and actually sorting stuff out.

Can I do anything with Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading? It's so frustrating to be continually complaining and never actually getting anywhere near to sorting things out.

I guess this isn't available for international costumers? :(
  • Has anybody returned anything yet, I have an item that I want to exchange because it looks cheap and nasty and doesn't fit. I also have a River Island dress that looks horrible on. It does state in the terms and conditions "Purchased item can only be exchanged for an additional size; exchange for alternative item not available."

Anyone placed an order, only for ASOS to email later to say the item is out of stock?

I placed my order yesterday for a £55 dress, to which I applied my £20 Groupon discount, paying £35 with my debit card.

I received an email today saying that the dress is now out of stock, so they have refunded me... £35, without the £20 "discount". No mention of my Groupon code being reinstated.

I have emailed them to ask them what's going on - this is entirely their fault, so I'm going to be furious if they try to cheat me out of my discount (and ultimately £9 which I would then have spent on precisely nothing!).

Anyone had any experiences of this particular issue as yet?

I bought a pair of jeans and they sent the wrong colour AND they were damaged. Ridiculous amount of emails back and forth as they weren't reading them properly and only giving generic 'no voucher refunds' answers. I had to twitter message them in the end to ask someone to give me a proper answer. Finally got them to say that I could return them and if I'm right they'll issue a new code. They flippin' better as it's completely their fault!! I've taken photos and screenshots so they can't say 'oh there's nothing wrong with them'.

They should DEFINITELY be issuing new vouchers when the problem is theirs!

Thanks for this info - I spoke with them and they've issued me with a new discount code. Only valid until 3 April - think the ASOS voucher was valid for longer than that - so a bit naughtly, but I've ordered my replacement dress and it's been dispatched so all should be okay. Hope you get your problem sorted Roxy :(

Thanks angelesque! They finally issued me a new code, just waiting for them for refund me for an item in my order that they didn't list on the return confirmation. D'oh!

Glad they got yours sorted eventually! :T
