Sort Code & Account Number on debit card

Anyone know which banks print the sort code AND account number on the debit cards?

I know LloydsTSB and Santander do and Halifax do on the electron cards at least.

Any others?

I know Citibank, RBS and Natwest don't.

Thanks :)

Possibly - if you are using the debit card to pay in it's a check it's the right account

but that's a guess, not knowledge

Much easier to find the account number and sort code when I need them without hunting out a statement. Also to know which debit card relates to which account when you have more than one account with same bank.

Already mentioned, but Lloyds, Nationwide and Santander print or emboss both on theirs.

To be honest, I thought this was standard practice.

But as asked above, why? Just curious.

Answered while I was posting. - makes sense - I have 4 accounts with 2 banks, so I understand that point.

Fair enough - but it makes it less secure, but not by much. Can still pull all the details off Track 2.

I believe Co-op bank put the details on their debit cards.
