:eek::eek:Baird was a founder and "business consultant" at Priority Golf Ltd, which was shut down by the High Court after barely a year. His betting firm Alpamike Ltd was also liquidated in the public interest.
After Baird died in 2009 aged 49, his number two, Sentley Robert Wilson took over.
If there's anyone less qualified than Baird to run a debt management firm, it had to be Wilson, a former solicitor, also from Nottingham. He too was made bankrupt in 2004 owing nearly £2m.
The following year Wilson was struck off as a solicitor after being caught "misappropriating" clients' funds. The legal cashier at Sentley Wilson Bowen firm told his tribunal how Wilson regularly went through the list of balances left in client accounts and told her "take that".
All £17,000 due to one personal injury client was transferred into the company's office account and used to pay wages.
Tribunal chairman David Leverton was "in no doubt at all that Mr Wilson's activities had been dishonest. He had knowingly taken clients' monies in an attempt to keep the firm afloat."
.................
But we have discovered that John Baird and Wilson also ran The Brampton Pie Company (UK) Ltd, which went bust in December 2009 owing £476,000.
Among the creditors was DCM Money Solutions, owed £171,000. What on earth was DCM doing lending money to its bosses' ailing pie company?
Why on earth were people with that record given a Consumer Credit License by the OFT to run a debt management company?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

yeah im there with you!!
A lot of this information should have been more freely available. DCM might have not got new business, and the exisiting customers could have got away from them before it was too late.
We only have found out this information now after a Daily Mirror investigation into DCM, after the company had gone into administration owing people £10,000's.
One of the directors being struck off for misappropriating clients funds. Is this not important information that we should all have heard about. We would have been a lot more careful had we known about this.
And where was the permission for these directors to use our money to be place into their business venues who were failing.STILL IN PURSUIT OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE, NEVER GIVING UP. SEMPI FI.0 -

Mike I'm pleased you have contacted the Daily Mirror, they helped in the CCE case. ( BTW Another FX company Interchange has gone bust this week)If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
I have the BBC calling me tomorrow.
I have the Daily Express calling me on Friday.
I am speaking to the police tomorrow.
And I have the sun speaking to me on monday.
The News Article in todays mirror is just the first.
I urge everyone on here to contact the people that i have, get this in the media.
We might not see any of our money again, but at least we can get these people so that they cant be a director of a company anymore and do the same again.
If we get enough expose it will prompt the administrator to go the the insolvency arm of the OFT they can also get the police involved and these directors can go to jail.STILL IN PURSUIT OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE, NEVER GIVING UP. SEMPI FI.0 -
Mike one other newspaper that helped with CCE was the Telegraph, try the Nottingham Evening Post as well that's the local Nottingham paper. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

Guys, you have to get the Fraud Squad at Nottingham police involved ASAP. Just because the business of this outfit was debt is no excuse for them not investigating fraud - that is a criminal activity and they must at least acknowledge something if you make an accusation to them. The fact that the paperwork at the company seems to have been shredded should be enough to get them interested. The Devon and Cornwall plods have been superb in the CCE case and I see no reason why Notts should be any different. At least that way, the police will be able to investigate much more thoroughly than any administrator can and if they happen to find illegal activities, they can stop these reprobates from re-starting in any other businesses.Mushrooms - Kept in the dark and fed BS0

right guys here is the details
Just been speaking to nottinghamshire police and this is what we need to do
Normally they wouldnt get involved but due to the sums of money involved they will.
What we need to do it to contact the police in YOUR area.
They will start the investigation, they will then pass it onto nottinghamshire to investigate.
Go to your local police station as i am going to do, explain to them that nottinghamshire police have told you to go to the local police to report and start the investigation and pass it onto them.
hope all is clearSTILL IN PURSUIT OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE, NEVER GIVING UP. SEMPI FI.0
