Vodafone Payg Family costs £5 a month and no call charge.
it doesnt 'cost' £10 a month, you just have to top up at least £10 a month! - you can use that credit for whatever you want
where as voda 'charge' you you dont get to use that money for anything else as far as i am aware!Yes Your Dukeiness0 -

that idea of a payg sim could keep her payments down, as its a phone she could use for purely calling you!! when you say huge bills too how much do you mean? she can up her tariff on a flext to the flext 50 which is a £255 allowance but means she is saving in the long run!!
I ask her the same question!!!! she doesnt use the 0845 numbers, maybe its because i am on o2, so the charges are more, im not sure!!0 -

Her last bill was a £163.00!!!!!! And mine was a £140.00 I get a 1000 minutes a month, this is really eating into my monthly budget! not very moneysaving at all!!!0 -
I think that the Voda option is the most viable option guys, now I just got get her to pay the £5.00!!!!:D :rotfl: lol
Think it maybe a pay and go chip for both of us, or maybe a cheap sim only contract from voda web site, they have a 1000 text a month available at the moment!!0 -
redux wrote:while they've still got the other contracts for other calls, and if they both want to initiate calls to each other, that's £20 worth of credit that isn't needed
and i didnt understand what you ment by the restYes Your Dukeiness0 -
is it that if they want to call each other then they have to top up a tenner on each?
me and my bloke do it all the time i get unlimited free calls to oranges and he just 1rings me and i ring him back - not a problem
if he doesnt want to do that hes got his usual phone to ring her for quick convosYes Your Dukeiness0 -
I've deleted my posts as I can't be arsed any longer to suggest that £5 is cheaper0

Redux, thanks for the posts, I got your message, thanks everone for the advise, after much deliberation with the other half we shall be going to voda for our long conversations!!!:money:0 -
How about Vodafone stop the clock? Talk for up to 60 minutes and pay for 3, if you have inclusive minutes they come out of that, can be used to call landlines, other vodafones or any other network.2p off is still 2p off!0
