Dontknow I'd take the general advice that you avoid the flylady website. Never could understand why I needed shoes on in order to clean. We're a lot more relaxed around here. Its fit in what you can, when you can.

A quick question peoples, do you get on with the flying as soon as you wake up in the mornings before the school run (those of you who actually have school runs lol)
Dont be silly woman, need a cuppa or two first:p:p:rotfl::rotfl:
    :heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls
  • I do a bit, empty dishwash whilst kettle is boiling, unload WM, take up all the laundry which has been airing when I go up for a shower.

Then when I get back from the school run I do a HH of dailies (washing up from breakfast, washing on the line, tidy bedrooms/living room, S&S bathroom/shower room kitchen).

Jo did a great post sometime ago about what she fitted in before leaving the house.
    Who is Jo?

Ok thanks, well I have unsubscribed from the emails, I'd love to know how they have time to fly when they write and send a million emails a day!

Hi all. Major catch-up time, as I didn’t get online yesterday (too darned knackered after the craft fair).
    Jinky congratulations on the job.
Seafarers sorry I missed the correct day, but hope all went well, and that you had a wonderful day.
Cyclingyorkie I see DD1’s bus journey went well – well done to her on being brave enough to give it a go.
Mrs Chaos (((HUG))) I don’t blame you for wanting to get stuff sorted out – trouble with some men is they think they can behave badly, then just carry on as if nothing’s happened, and of course, we just let them.

A’n’Ws Ooh, poor Miss A – ouchie-ouch! :(I hope her poor thumb isn’t too painful today. Oh – just saw the photo; that looks really painful.

Don’tknowanymore Step away from the American FL website! :DAnyone who tries to make me put on make-up and shoes for goodness sake, before I start the washing up needs shooting!:DFwiw, I do what bits I can, when I have enough spoons to do them. But I’m working round a debilitating illness, so not the same as folks with families to sort out, iyswim.:o

Thr craft fair was interesting, but it's always hard work persuading Mr LW that we don't need a wooden pergola, or set of hand-painted champagne flutes, or goodness knows what else. I managed to confine him to a couple of bottles of fancy booze, a CD of Native American music and a wooden clock with a dragon etched into it, so not too bad this time.;)

I am soooooo tired today though. We've completed our weekend tasks though, thankfully, and Mr LW has put away 2 bowls of potato'n'pasta soup and 3 slices of HM tomato bread. (I had 1 bowl of soup and 1 slice of bread);)

Think I'll log off now, and set the PC to defragging.;):o

    See ya later, folks.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

as there are just 2 of us, I think that makes a big difference, I do my dailies first thing in the morning, that for me is, swish and swipe bathroom, pick up any 'stuff' in living room, put away dry dishes and clean down worktops in kitchen.
That keps us looking reasonable, then I have a 3 hour lunch break, so in that time I do the 'list of the day'.
Which means when I finish work I cook dinner and wash up, then I collapse in heap and watch TV.
    Sue
Do I need to eat it :o
    Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T
  • Good afternoon all

AnW, ouch Miss A's finger looks sore , big (((hugs))) to her for being such a brave little girl.

Mrs Chaos Why are men so bad a dealing with thing. (((hugs))) to you.

CyclingYorkie Happy to hear that your DD's bus trip was so positive.

dontknowanymoreAt the minute Im at home working and have to work around my health issues. Prior to this and before starting flying, I did dailies, such as WM, DW and S&S of the kitchen and bedroom in the morning and TD,WM, S&S bathrooom, Kitchen and livingroom of an evening and did a proper clean at the weekend.

OH has done the ironing this morning and S&S the kitchen before going off to see his DS this afternoon and I've done dusted and ran the hoover over the living room.

Im off to get started on meal plan for next week and do shopping with MR S online. Hugs and positive vibes to all those who need them, hope you all enjoy what is left of your weekend.
