A quick question peoples, do you get on with the flying as soon as you wake up in the mornings before the school run (those of you who actually have school runs lol)

I don't have much time in the mornings so if i'm lucky the wm and dw get turned on. Then i try and get the flying done when there at school, mind you they tend to have it a mess again as soon as they get through the door. :(
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

More HHE or WHE Whole Hour Exercise. Urrghhhhh.

could the 6lbs be hormonal? I think you said you still weren't back to normal...

I do basic dailies first thing, and I save all the lists for Saturday morning, as it suits me and my working life, often I leave the house for work by 6am, so the last thing I want to do is the list when I get home.

I think the flyladies have got use to me doing not a lot during the week and blitzing at the weekend.

    Homemade soup eaten....

    Still drizzling here.

Ohhh yes, could well be. AF finally arrived this weekend. Dont think it would cover the entire 6lbs ;) But could go a fair way to covering it :)
On the plus side I've been channeling my inner b*tch and managed to move lots of furniture with DH's help, but more than I could have probably done with out it ;) (And really trying not to let the inner b*tch out)
Probably also explain my little feeling sorry for my self moment earlier in the week ;)

DH is doing the flying today so the kitchen looks good .... so I can wreck it with a roast later :) And I've made curry for lunch as I'd got it out for friday night and it needed using up :)

    Afternoon flyers,
Dontknowanymore, it depends which room it is, i usually have 40 min in a morning before DGC land so if it's bedroom or bathroom or loo or stairs i usually tackle some of it then, ie strip bed wipe loo or bath, vac stairs. If it's living room i wait till littlies are here and give them a duster:D then i work round them. Kitchen gets done inbetween when doing breakfasts and dinners. Vaccing(sp) is fine but don't mop till evening or wait till DGD is at playschool and DGS is asleep.

Have to admit to slacking a bit, dailys getting done but bedrooms need catching up with. Not too bad though and washing kept up with so could be worse. Hugs, spoons and sticks to all who need them.
Seafarer hope your day was fab.
Coping vibes to all who need them.
Still doing well with no smoking thanks to ecig, only had 2 cigs in 10 days. :T

When I was mostly at home I did it after I got back from school run. Now I try and get a bit done just for 10 minutes before we go then I don't come home to a depressing mess.

WM times a gazillion again *sighs*

poor MissA hope it feels better soon

  • Thanks for all your replies guys, I just struggle to keep on top of things so thought if I planned to do a couple of things every morning before the school run it would start me off well for the day? lol

Also do you do the evening routines, getting dressed as soon as you wake and such things that are on the FL website? :D

I do a bit, empty dishwash whilst kettle is boiling, unload WM, take up all the laundry which has been airing when I go up for a shower.

Then when I get back from the school run I do a HH of dailies (washing up from breakfast, washing on the line, tidy bedrooms/living room, S&S bathroom/shower room kitchen).

Jo did a great post sometime ago about what she fitted in before leaving the house.
