    afternoon everyone,
my washing on the line and thats the first time it has been outside and not on the airer THIS YEAR!! nothing beats that feeling.so today i have
    1 x dw
    2 x wm
    kitchen tidied
    lounge tidied

    to do

    view houses
    dd bedroom!!!!!!
    takewaway
    ironing
I love saturdays!! one thing that has really helped me from looking on here. i take carrier bag all round the house and bin loads of bits and peices that would have been just tidied before. this is really going to help with the move.
while im on... shower screen is encrusted with lime scale just in the runners. i keep on top of the door. i have tried everything from lime lite, viakal and vineger. any ideas?
    happy flying people

Grass now cut front and back and looks so much better, grass cutting in neighbours green bin, mine is full, yes she does know about it, 2 flower beds weeded.

Swept the patio that looks a load better as well

Made encouraging noise was to how well next door are doing in taking down their conservatory, it is down now and they are knocking out the footing, a lg metal skip arrived about 1 hour ago so the kids are putting the small bricks in it.

Not sure what is next for me, bath I think......................

shopping (people food, cat food, clothes) - WIP, as I've been to town and got quite a few bits (incl a great offer on cat food), but need to hit Mr M's later.
    school work
laundry - still waiting for DS1's stuff:mad:; if I don't get it this afternoon he'll have to make do with what he's got.
[STRIKE]strip[/STRIKE] and make beds, [STRIKE]wash bedding
    [/STRIKE]
HHCs (ideally one in each room - that would be 7, but I won't get much time tomorrow - I'm counting the stairs, as they're full of gibble, but not DS1's room)
    do tea
[STRIKE]get cards for the twins' christening tomorrow[/STRIKE] - also got Mother's Day cards from card factory :T
    update budget

Lunch for me and DS2 made and decluttered and DW on. I had a lovely two hours in town by myself and found an outfit in the charity shop fo £8 - it's not even been worn. :j I'll take it down the road to my friend's to ask if she thinks it's too over the top for the christening. If it isn't I'll have to look for a handbag and shoes. Fortunately there's Matalan only 5 min away with Mr M next to it, where I need to go anyway. :D
Just realised how late it's got. I've got to get going, but have started with a niggly headache. Time to find some tablets, as it doesn't seem to be shifting by itself.

Does anyone have a good recipe for a popcorn topping/flavouring? I've bought some popping corn and might make some tonight - just in a pan on the hob. Thanks.

Well life is full on with uni cranking up the work load, then full time real work, run downness and cold

Well I've done a bit today - LR, washing, kitchen floor

Yesterday, bathroom floor and washed bath mats and curtain etc

Also baked today - one went right (nigella) and one went wrong (delia) guess who knows her baking treats better!

Well I know I've been awol from here but believe me life has been frantically busy and busy minded for quite a few weeks. I have the last week off and next week off uni but still need to put together my dissertation proposal before going back alongside non stop work in the office

Nicely though I've got some books from spamazon market place v.cheap for the next module and to help with the dissertation as the library is awkward to get to sometimes.

HAve been attempting some debt busting too and making some better progress than I expected. Just need to keep at it now and will really get to where I want to.

Hope everyone is ok on here and life is treating you fine!

I'll be back later with another update for the bedroom and bathroom

  • Hello everyone!

    Saturday already...........

    This week/today I have (besides work)(and acf):

    Cleaned bathroom twice
    Changed beds
    Hoovered through at least once
    Tidied gibble
    Painted front fence both sides
    Been to meetings
    Pooh patrol
    Sorted hangers
    Various washing
    Various ironing
Wiped down kitchen (almost every day)

um..........it felt a lot more honest!

    1 step closer
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
  • Well the Action for Children people came and stayed nearly an hour and a half so we will see what happens next week when they go to meet my son! They may be running scared once theyve met him:eek:

Did the most I could manage this week which meant cleaning until 9:30pm on Thursday night but have done the following from the list:
    Monday
    Declutter and vacuum floors
    Vacuum under furniture
    Dust and deweb

Tuesday - nothing, bed linen not washed/ironed from last week so not ready to change. We only have two sets - one on and one "in the wash".

    Wednesday
    Wipe worksurfaces
    Wipe Units

    Thursday
Mop floors - only did the downstairs loo
    Scrub fittings

Friday - nothing done, kids rooms far too scary to tackle.

On top of that I moved all the stuff that is on ebay/Amazon to a spare corner so it is at least a tidy pile (where do people keep all the clutter whilst they are waiting for it to sell?????), I tidied the kids toys downstairs and put them under the stairs and I tidied the Utility Cupboard - the one full of carrier bags, shoes, gloves and hats.

Need to try harder next week and make sure I do a little bit each day, otherwise I think I'll be right back to square one:T

OK - flying at half time quite successful. Although result seriously scary. Wooden spoons aren't fun!

Anyone got a suggestion for removing red wine from carpet? Slight falling over dog problem!
