Hi Toots  hope you are behaving

Vanilla~~ I would get on with it, the rooms swop that is, as long as your child /children all have a bed etc and are looked after, then I cannot see who or how they are going to know or complain, and it sounds like it would be a good move all round for your family anyway.

I'm not doing anywhere near as well as I'd thought, but had a really nice day. My friend thinks the new outfit is lovely and fine for tomorrow. I left DH to keep an eye on DS2 while I went out to finish the shopping.

I found a pair of smart trousers and a nice skirt in the sale at Matalan. a top to go with the trousers (we have an important parents' evening on Thursday) and some new slippers. I also splashed out on a pair of shoes for tomorrow and a cheap bag. Myy shoes and bags are usually black and I didn't have anything to go with dusky pink. Now I have. :Dhttp://www.matalan.co.uk/fcp/product/fashion-to-buy-online//Whip-stitch-heeled-sandal/32771&resultsPerPage=100&attrList=Dept,brand
I don't often buy new things for myself, so it's been nice.

I've also just done something that was either brave, stupid or plain crazy. DH and I fell out (again) almost 3 weeks ago and we've hardly been talking. Normally I try to sort it out, but not this time. He just asked my if I'm coming out tonight (his way of getting back to normal, but without sorting anything) and I said that I didn't want to. Not sure what will happen now. :o

    school work
laundry - still waiting for DS1's stuff:mad:; if I don't get it this afternoon he'll have to make do with what he's got.
    make beds
HHCs (ideally one in each room - that would be 7, but I won't get much time tomorrow - I'm counting the stairs, as they're full of gibble, but not DS1's room)
[STRIKE]do tea [/STRIKE] just mine left

Good for you MrsChaos. It is very frustrating when things just get swept under the carpet.

OH has a new laptop for his birthday. He is busy getting cross with windows 7 so hopefully he will get fed up enough to swap for my older one ;).

    Nice shoes Mrs C

I might take a trip to matalan in the morning cos I could do with the petshop next door.

Had a pleasant enough day, but there just aren't enough hours in the day. I didn't get round to vacuuming or mopping, so i will have to do that first thing.

Going to watch tv for an hour then get to bed. x

Hiya toots :hello: nice to see you. Hope the snow has gone by the time you go home.

Hope your new approach works MrsC - I can see why you got fed up with the 'lets pretend nothing happened' routine.

Vanilla - another vote for what they don't know won't bother them - sounds as if the smaller room without your stuff in it would be better for her anyway. You are going to declutter as you move the stuff aren't you?:p

Thanks for the moral support. Anything can happen now, so I'm trying not to waste time thinking about it.

DS1 is out, DS2 is in bed and I'm just having a sandwich. Wasn't hungry earlier and can't be bothered with the stir-fry now. Not a good weekend in terms of diet, as there will be a party after the christening and I'm not good with buffets... I'm going to have a bath and then get on to work.

    school work
laundry - collected, sorted and now WIP :D; WM x1 is on and 3 more to go before tomorrow evening
