on the way home from work I had a phone call from DS1 school to collect him as he was unwell. He had a migraine which made him sick so for the rest of the day and Tuesday I crept round trying not to disturb him.

Snap that happened to me today with DS2, I did clean the bathroom and shower room though as that would be quiet ;):p

Pleased with the balance I have achieved this week with flying/other things. I need to do all the bedrooms over the weekend but that is ok as the boys are home they can tidy them first:T

Baking done but need to go and make a start on dinner.

    Thursday ~ Bathroom and WC
    Level One

    Level Three
Wash light pull strings! (Painting with neat bleach works then rinse in a jug of water) Suitably cleaned... ours has large wooden beads strung on it, for ease of grabbing by arthritic paws.;)
Scrub down the paintwork and radiators.. back and front! Done all I can get to
    Extras

    1. Polish mirrors and shelves! Done
Friday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it! Slept most of Friday morning, so that surely must cover this!:(
    Level Two
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!! Done
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows Done
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors Done
    Extras
    1. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames! Done all I can get to
    2. HHI N/A; HHYoga instead
    3. End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend! RSPCA box at the ready to receive any charity shop items; recycling all in pink sack in shed; rubbish in bin bag; spent batteries and water filter cartridges in box for taking to recycle points in town. 'Tis all tidy and organised.:p
All done, at least to the best of my ability. I could do to get ahead with the weekend tasks really, as there's some craft fair or other in CMK that Mr LW wants to go to at the weekend..... but I'm SOOOOOO flippin' knackered.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Running to catch up with you, as I hadn't planned such a lazy start to the weekend. Just had a cuppa and a nap.

:xmastree: a tree so that you get the welcome PM

Tips - lower your standards and don't beat yourself up about things that dont really matter :o
Little and often seems to be key. I make myself do at least half an hour every day (dishwasher, washing machine, quick wipe kitchen and bathroom, hoover ideally) and I try not to leave the kitchen in a mess every night. It doesn't always work, and I end up doing everything at the weekend and seething with resentment.

HHC - tea made, WM on, dogs fed, chickens put to bed, ground floor hoovered
