Glad you have found a job that suits better, Jinky. Congratulations.

Welcome back, Serena. Glad you had a good time. I've got to wait until July for the next trip to Germany.

    Nice to 'see' you, Tag.

My HHC lasted a bit longer, but I got most of the dailies done I'd neglected in the last couple of days. Overall, I'm pleased. I've been back at work for two weeks and the house does not look worse than it did at the end of half-term.

Don't get me wrong - I still couldn't have anyone round (don't know what DS1's new girlfriend must be thinking), but if it gets a little bit better every week, then eventually it must become presentable. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

It's been ok at work this week, but I'm beginning to feel like a potato plant. Everytime I can see daylight someone dumps more stuff on me. I've got a bit more left for tonight than I would like:

clear up dinner stuff in kitchen
    hoover LR
    towel wash
strip and re-make beds (DS2 and ours)
    wash bedding
two jobs for work, so I've got a chance to get everything done this weekend (well, at least I'll make a start)

Hope everyone's ok - I've only read the last couple of pages.

Been away for a while finding best method is little bit of cleaning every or at least most days!
Upstairs cleaned except bathroom downstairs will sort tomorrow.
Managed to come home early one day this week and did lot of cleaning then.
Trying not to leave all cleaning to the weekend as that's no way to spend a weekend!

Hello Valli :hello: Thought I'd better make an appearance seeing as 'peg season' is just getting underway!;)

    Congratulations Jinky !!

Well, I was going to do a bit more flying tonight but I've just spent 3/4 of an hour helping Miss Tag get a couple of things that have been bothering her sorted.

When your 8, being told off by a dinner lady for the first time ever is serious stuff!! Oh, if only the dramas I have in my life were so easy to deal with. Anyway all sorted now and she's happily munching a comforting jam sandwich. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing

So I shall sign off for now to watch Benidorm. I want a blingy whizzy chair when I'm old!:p And then I'm off to bed to read for a bit.

Be back tomorrow to continue what I've started.

    Nite all xxx

  • Evening all

    Congratulations Jinky

Dinner has been done and moaned about by kids as they would prefer some form of processed c**P, I really dont know why I both but at least dogbot appeciated my efforts and OH will eat anything.

DD did the after dinner S&S in the kitchen and DS and I did a binbag dance (well I sat on the couch and directed :o) of his toys.

OH is going to do dog watch this evening as he plans to go out on his bike tomorrow and this is his way of giving me a break, I get to come to bed tonight and relax.

Hope you all have a lovley weekend. Hugs to all who need or want them.
