    Afternoon all

Washing out, it rained earlier but the wind is getting up now and the ground is drying so hopefully it will do something.

Not much else going on but I've kept things tidy as I go, it will do.

Because my new bookcase arrived and almost, alllllllmost fits all the books. So the trashy falling apart one has gone to bookcase heaven... but bits salvaged that will apparently fix the bed :) The book case lives on in spirit.:rotfl:
Anyway - what this means is that the spare room needs moving around which, with charlie chick isnt that easy. (Still hoping for some mates for him on Tuesday! ... and that he doesnt beat them up - need brooder partition!) deffo a 2 person job. Wondering if the craft cupboard will temporarily live in the lounge - see if i want a "nice" cupboard to go there or if it shrinks the lounge.

DW emptied and reloaded - other dishes gathered to refeed it.
WM on with whites, darks sorted and due to follow them.
Been to Mr M's DH wanted takeaway for tea so I've got curry out the freezer and got some naan bread, papawhatists and pilau seasoning :) hopefully that'll do in his craving :)
Gonna try for HHE at 12:45.

Ohhh and the shower leak is only affecting about 6 inches of plaster - DH attacked it with a screwdriver  but I might get to change the paint colour :rotfl::rotfl:

My thoughts also go out to all those affected by the terrible earthquake and tsuami in Japan and surrounding areas, truly distressing and horrific to watch. Many, many countries are on high alert, some are evacuating, it's due to hit Hawaii next, also the west coast of the USA.

Flying, more washing sorted and folded, hamster still in garage, I have reminded hubby, savings out, change converted.

    Hi All
Hope everyone is well? We've got a bit of sunshine here so the sheets are out and hopefully almost dry (fingers crossed!).

Am completely off plan today - I finally admitted defeat yesterday evening and slept, and slept, for around 15 hours. Feel a lot better today - must have been running on adrenaline for a very long time...

I have, however, spent an hour finding the floor in DDs room, and I've made huge inroads into making the living room, well, a living room...

I'll keep plugging away at things - I need to make a menu plan as I need to shake up what we're eating as we've been relying on too much stodge recently, and I still need to start on the kitchen.

One thing I do find when I'm feeling completely overwhelmed is to say 'if I only do one thing...' then fill in the blank. Takes the pressure off a lot.

Anyway, that's enough of my rambling for now. Hope everyone gets to share the sunshine...
    Take care

    Hi everyone.
I want to join in here after someone on the daily thread gave me a virtual kick up the bum!
Thank you so much for this. Now that we have a working printer, I just printed the Mon-Fri list of stuff to do.
I am sooooo happy! It is like having a meal-plan all done out, so I don't have to think too hard, and forget about stuff. I just look at the list, and away I go! I love it.
And, it's made me realise that my house isn't too grubby either. Eg, I hoover and tidy the kids' room every day, so it is easy peasy to do now. Anyhoo, must crack on and do a bit more.
