    Morning all

Really blowy here but showery too so I think I could spend the morning playing the washing okey kokey.

I can't work out if I have a cold or hayfever this morning. The wind is blowing the pollen off the alder trees in the street so it could be that.

DS1 will get his AS geography paper 1 result today so fingers crossed.

Going to delete 20 emails and then start on my list:

    [STRIKE]put washing out
    finish ironing
    clear all kitchen hotspots[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]delete some emails[/STRIKE]
    check bank accounts
    governor emails
    [STRIKE]dusting downstairs
    haircut[/STRIKE]
    sort recipe cuttings

    This week
    sort gardening files
    sow seeds
    sort seeds
    sort receipts drawer
    sign up for Olympics tickets
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Good Morning all, hugs to those who need or want them

    *Rant Warning*

Well the house looks like a right tip, I've been up all night trying to keep dogbot downstairs and still, which I dont mind as sleep pattern is reversed at the moment and Im not going to bed til 4/5am (although he did go out in the garden, I though to empty his bowels but no he managed to get the lampshade off and started digging in his fave spot.:mad) So when OH, DD and DS got up this morning I tried to grab an hr or so on the couch and Ive woken to find that they have left the kitchen in a vile state and both living rooms carpets look like the Dog has brought the living room inside and I cant hoover them as he is scared of the hoover.

    *Rant Over*

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Oh dear! having got off to a pretty good start on Monday I've had two not so good days as far as housework goes! However they've been very busy days doing loads round and about, so I shall not beat myself up too much and just jump back in! Best get off and up to sort out the bathroom then!

Not enough washing for a load today. I've vacuumed through downstairs after generally tidying up, washing up etc. DD2 is coming over later. Hope everyone's OK.

Fun time in the Wolf's Lair today; plumber blokey has been to service the boiler; we also got him to sort out the water pipes, which were banging horribly every time we ran a bath. He went up in the loft and found that the thingummy-wotsit-doodah had seized up, so that's been replaced and £70 decluttered from my purse.

Virtually zero flying today, as Mr LW is working from home, but I did get a bit ahead yesterday, so the list looks like this at present:

    Thursday ~ Bathroom and WC
    Level One
Declutter and mop floors! Done by Mr LW:A
Scrub the bath/shower/basins/toilets/bidets etc.. don't forget the outside of the loo and under the scanky rim.. it gets naaaaaasty under there!!.. oh, and don't forget the top of the cistern! Done
    Level Two
Sling shower curtain/bathmats in the wash and scrub down the slimy tiles! Done (shower screen scrubbed along with porcelain)
Wash away any mouldy black bits and furry webs Done
Polish up the taps so they shine! Done
    Level Three
Wash light pull strings! (Painting with neat bleach works then rinse in a jug of water)
Scrub down the paintwork and radiators.. back and front!
Clear and wipe window sills and frames and make the blinds/curtains nice and clean Sill done; no blind/curtain in here
    Extras

    1. Clean out the toiletries cupboard and put back the stuff you use.. and fling the stuff you don't! Do any necessary decanting so you have fewer almost empties! All OK; nearly empty bottle of Mr LW's shampoo put upside down in a plastic pot for ease of getting the last of it out.;)
    2. Replace and curly toothbrushes All OK
    3. Polish mirrors and shelves!
    4. Make a note of stuff you do need to stock up.. and stuff you already have stocked up for 10 years! Nothing needed at present – I have an ongoing shopping list, when we start on the “spare” of anything, it gets written on there.;)
Friday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc Done
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!

Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!! N/A
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season! Deferred til Mr LW is available to assist with trying the stuff on (each cupboard/drawer is individually listed on my Toots list)
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extras
    1. Find 5 things to ebay/freecycle N/A – nowt to go at present
    2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
    3. HHI
    4. End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
I'll delete the stuff that's done off my Word.doc now, so I can see more easily what's left to do (tomorrow!!):o

I'm also having a bit of a rough time with hot flushes today - no idea why; hopefully it'll pass before we have to go into town later - I have a cheque to pay in, and Mr LW needs a haircut.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

DD2 has got a C in her sociology modular exam. I am delighted as she thought she'd get a D or E but she isn't happy!

I guess everyone else has got higher...but she needs to remember that she spent the day before the exam in tears thanks to a so called mate!:mad:

Much ironing done - 2 loads of washing on line and towels in W/M.

    Off to work now!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
