Evening all
I finally completed todays list and have done WMx2, which are on the airer drying. Both sitting room s could do with a once over with the hoover but I just going to have to live with it as dogbot is scared of the hoover.
Tomorrows dinner is cooking away and there is a beef stew in the SC half of which will be made into a pie for friday and half of which will go into the freezer for a later date.
Ive spent all day trying to get dogbot to stay still with no luck but I have managed to keep him downstair. Although I am a little concerned that he hasn't been the toilet, if this continues tomorrow I think I'll give the vet a call as I'm not sure if this is normal.
Well Im off to have dinner now before jumping in the bath.
Hugs to all who need or want them."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. You weren't alone.. I've been playing with laundry, I have folded 9 loads of washing.. refed the TD and both WM's and OH brought the 2 full baskets down. Freja and Tiddles are in bed, DS2 is in the shower and in about half an hour they will all be in bed because they have been beastly the last few days!
I need to drag Henry out for a walk tomorrow but he is upstairs and I struggle dragging him down.
I have written half a tesco list too.. going there in the morning after Shortness has had a bath and breakfast.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I had a friend come over today and for the first time ever I didn't panic or have to rush round doing a big clean the day before...I just did my usual quick hoover around (because of dog/cat hair I do this daily) and normal stuff...I was really relaxed and it is only now that I have realised how much of a difference this thread has made

Thank you all xxx

I love that feeling. I've been panicking about visitor tomorrow. I've just felt over whelmed since moving, tbh, and the house never feels clean because everything is so old and gungy. I'll hoover tomorrow, and do the room the dogs sleep in...which looks more like the room I keep a zoo in ATM and I've laid a tray for tea/coffee already with a clothe over it.LittleMissHappy wrote: »I had a friend come over today and for the first time ever I didn't panic or have to rush round doing a big clean the day before...I just did my usual quick hoover around (because of dog/cat hair I do this daily) and normal stuff...I was really relaxed and it is only now that I have realised how much of a difference this thread has made

Cleared the DD's ROD floor, fed up off narky remarks from my mother. She's visiting friday so looking forward to the look on her face !
The children's father visited today, I left the house. He still hasn't got anywhere to live. Told me he has put deposit on a rented house in next village, and has stopped paying all the bills for our house. And to cap it off I get less tax credit now he has walked out on me and the kids than when he paid everything ? how does that work ? Sorry for ranting!!! Ate 3 chocolate bars and 3 packets of crisps today...sw tomorrow what a laugh that will be."Sealed Pot Challenge" member 1122SW - lost 2.5 stones
