Happier~# why not get a stair gate to keep the dog down stairs at night, ask on freecycle or see if neighbours have one you can borrow.
Dogbot normally sleeps upstairs but he was castrated on Monday and vet said to keep him downstairs and as still as possible, while the stitches heal. If he was left on his own this wont happen, as he is stubborn, in the previous house we had a stair gate and he climbed over it. If he tried it this time he may rupture his stitches.
A has also figured out how to get the collar off and also how to lick his bits, where the stitches are, around the edge of the collar, which is why he need supervision at all time to stop this happening."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. we had dachie with a low pain threshold, when he had an op we had to sit with him 24/7 and give him painkillers or he either sreamed or took the stitches out, hopefully soon your pooch will at least be over the worst.
DH is fitting a new loft ladder, its only taken 2 days  and he never clears the mess, so he trails plaster dust and everything all over the house, flying is now taken up by tracking his movements with the dyson. Hopefully the last time today.
