Got a phone call from the solicitor at 9:20am to say that funds had been received at the other end and the house was mine!
It's a bit of an anti-climax now, I was all geared up to chase people and stress and even shout, but it's all done.
I am now a woman of property! _party_

Manchester Lucy, it would appear that I am using exactly the same solicitor as yourself - initials EB working for Conveyancing Warehouse. I have been told that the vendor's contract has not been received despite the vendor informing me that she has been told it was sent last week by recorded delivery0
