Silverangel - I'm not a fan of pink either so I must be an equal nightmare to buy for!
Maybe you could get her a little lilac themed notepad/pen, that sort of thing? I've seen lilac coloured buff puff thingies around, hairbands/clips and though I know you said no make up but would she like nail varnish? Another thought to make life easier would be to mix two colours - like lilac and white? Lots of smellies can be got too - though lavender can be a bit older if overwhelming it might be nice in small doses like in a soap or something?
Speaking of which, Lush do the most gorgeous soap called gratuitious violets that smells of Parma Violets. And maybe you could get some of those to go in too? My favourite fluffy slipper socks are lilac)
Hope that might be a bit helpful!0 -
oooh Silverangel35 i saw some white wicker baskets with a white cloth lining in poundstretcher along london road (brighton) earlier in the week, all different sizes. unfortunately i didnt get a price as i was only waiting for the traffic to move and the baskets were facing the wrong way.
i shall however try to get down there this weekend to have a shooftiIt only seems kinky the first time.. :A0 -
if anyone is interested my lidl today has 3 gift boxes for £1.99 that would be nice to make up hampers in if anyone is still looking. the had a variety of patterns from cream/gold noel print to xmas trees in bold green and red and pretty angels. they had rectangle and square sets.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0

Loads of ideas here, thank you so much
Slipper socks !! I havent heard of those in ages hehe but remember them very well, I cant remember what happened to my pairI was thinking along the lines of notepad pen etc but her birthday is 5 days after xmas so I was going for filofax/notepad stuff for her for then. But I can look around
Lilac and white i think it will have to be. She likes charlie spray & I am sure there is white ones of those so I will have to go down that route. Just seems daunting looking at an empty basket & wondering how to fill it. Hope I will be more creative when I get to look in the shops
@Crispeater, yep just found out there is a poundstretcher in Brighton, however I have the baskets now, I should have gone into Brighton last weekend rather than my awful town lol So will hop on train and do that next weekI should get the magic scarf there aswell, ah heck just remembered sportsworld aswell (for 'no fear' t-shirts for my son) looks like I am going to have to budget very carefully in Brighton lol
Thanks againBest wins

Boots do a lilac shower gel, liquid soap and foam bath for 59p each and they look quite nice in baskets.
Also if you hve an asda nearby they do bath scrunchies, and sponges etc for around 30p each, def white, occasionally lilac. They also do little lilac candles for 30p with little glass dishes to put them in for about 30p. May be useful to bulk out your hamper.0 -

The tesco lilac roses can be ordered on line. I had them delivered on Tuesday with my groceries. I ordered them to bring my bill over £50.00 to get the extra 250 points. They were in the Toiletry/Baby section Gifts /adult toiletry.
