Have you tried it instore in the advantage machine to see if it comes up with your name and details?? If it doesn't then I would phone them or email. Telephone number may be on a leaflet instore.

I'll risk temptation and give that a go... the boots thread has come up with lots of ideas for my non-existent money!

The Boots thread seems to have loads of bargains but I just can't get my head around it. I had another look just now and I think that alot of the good deals are when a store has a self service till which I don't think we have here in Bristol.

I have exactly the same problem as you! ... Non existant money :rotfl:

The boots thread is a completely different language to me aswell ... its all the abbreviations etc etc :o I just don't get it! I think for me it needs to be an idiots guide then I stand a chance to get it!

Mind you I looked on ebay for some soap and glory gift sets as I was thinking about a small miniature type box set for my MIL for christmas as I got a mini CK perfume and a shower smoothie through the post the other day and I thought I would base my hamper for her around that! so far I have everything I need to make her a sweet boquet and thats all ready to be arranged and try to get it all to stand still, I then have a couple of items from Lush which were freebies I won and then I have this CK perfume and radox shower smoothie! ... don't think she reads books, she loves jewellry and she isn't yout typical MIL .. she is lovely and acts like a teenager and looks nowhere near her age!!

You shouldn't be afraid of the Boots thread with all its jargon :D but I know how you feel lol. When I first read it I thought they were all a bit loopy :rotfl: and didn't understnd a word lol. I'm still the same with Tesco tho' :o

The miniature Soap and Glory set is a great example of how it can help though Rusty, as there's an offer on now whereby if you spend £15 in cash or points on the Soap and Glory range, (less in some areas) the miniature gift set's free. :) But you obviously need the points (or money) to get it ;)

The points add up quite quickly btw, and you don't need to spend a fortune to get them - just the essentials in most cases, and in other cases, they pay out more in points than you've actually spent, so they pay you sometimes to take stuff away lol.

Just reading that back looks confusing, but on that thread there's no such thing as a stupid question and I'd say 99.9% of questions always get a reply.

You should try it :D (oops, long post - sorry :o ) x

Oooh so the mini sets are freebies when spent with £15 ... thats interesting as I only have £7 ish worth of points but don't mind spending the £15 cause I can put these away for another present if that makes sense and still get MIL's free ... they were going quite well on ebay which shows why there was a few on there but I disagree with the prices being charged! someone said they have a RRP of £15

I might nip on over later on ;)
    Thanks
