Pidge I am still learning where everything is as I only moved up here in March OH knows everywhere though which is great! Yorkshire trading is good sometimes aswell just have to work your way through the high volume of tat! Thats a few doors up from Home bargains in Cramlington. I am in Blyth, not sure if Whitley bay is too far out for you or not but there is another home bargains there which is a bit bigger than the one in cramlington and also there is an ex catalogue shop

rusty more great hampers. love the suitcases. I really wish I'd bought some when they had them in our asda - they are all gone now love the baking hamper too.

Love those crafty tins Rusty, what a great idea and a fab price. And those cones look delicious (and professionally made.) Thanks to rainmac too. I had a look at the link for the snowman soups but only had time to thank you and one other poster so far, so I'll pop back later - pc permitting They all look great nevertheless. Did you buy the 7" x 15" cones?

lush1001 - the plate sounds lovely and I LOL at the mention of a sock in each muffin case. I think I might have to do it that way too. I'm a bit ham-fisted and those cases are fragile :rotfl:

rainmac - really love the Christmas Eve basket and contents, and the tinned selection boxes Still wondering how you got all of those things into one basket, unless it's a massive basket lol, but another great idea (Btw, how will you get your lo's to sleep after opening that though? lol) I'd have been awake all night wondering what was coming next :rotfl: )

savingholmes - firstly, what's a photo globe please? Secondly - love those Yule logs and MIL's hamper Btw, if you're stuck for cones, don't order any if it's just for a couple or three, iyswim?

SeaBee - how pretty are those hampers? Well done I've tried cellophaning over wrapped presents, but never achieved a look as good as those I'm not sure about this year, but last year QS and Bodycare were doing the Beautiliscious items - Sainsbury's and Tesco might have been others?

Really like the movie night hamper and the case and contents kle87 and what a great price - especially for the case As savingholmes suggested - I'd pop in a H&B scrunchie - every hamper should have a scrunchie The best, imo, are the 49p ones with the handle on. They might be a little bit extra but they seem to be gentler on the nails as they don't catch on them, iyswim? Only ever seen them in blue though but can't recommend them highly enough.

Ickle87 - you've been busy too and I really like those home-made Santa stockings. I clicked on the link you posted the other night (the newspaper one) and then spent a couple of hours trying to print one - and failing, lol. Is there an art to it? Great idea tho'! Thanks also for the link to the jars. Can't see the pictures on craftwise here, but the price looks good lol.

Hope I haven't missed anyone out but you all make hampers (and type so quick that I can't keep up lol) but everything looks so nice.

And this morning I have mostly been wrapping sweets in cellophane! :rotfl: What a nightmare ... I decided cellophane will never be my best friend. I am trying to make up 2 sweet boquets like Shelley did, however I already seem to think mine will never look as good as hers! Maybe this was a bad idea lol

Passion8- i ordered the small muffin cases without realising but it will make the hampers look more full having 2 in each ha ha, and i put red lollys through the middle to make the "cherries" and i have to say they look yummy!

im giving my bithday hamper today so hopefully my attempt at creativity will be well recieved, this forum is full of so many good ideas its brilliant :-)

Passion - Get your paper the way you like it go through all the screens till you get to the one that says pay for it delivered to your house at the bottom is a button that says preview click on it, then right click on the picture save picture and then open the picture from your documents, print it that way and it should work fine. Thats what I did anyway. I have done two copies, thought I might tea bag one and see how it looks.

I'm in college all day today but am trying to get my nan to go pick up a crafting mag for me because my subscription to it doesnt start till next issue and a new one came out yesterday sob sob.

Have been given £25 off my mum for the two hampers I did for her. First one had a Billy Joel Cd in which I got for free from Amazon with my voucher from BView, also had loads of toiletries in and a door hanger, second basket was the same except it didnt have the cd in it, I put pics of em both up anyway but I cant find the pic cos college block pictures

They didn't cost me £25 anyway. I will work out what they cost when I get home. lol x

Thanks lots passion , the basket isn't actually all that big but everything fits in well (by luck more than judgement ). Going to let the boys have the basket in the morning of Xmas Eve so they will have all day to wade through the contents and we'll be all festive all day. That's the plan anyway

I love Yorkshire Trading ( cheeky and get some xmas cards in there dirt cheap!). We live in Essex but OH is from North Yorkshire so when we visit MIL we always have to make a trip to YT & Boyes and then to Redcar for Chiltern Mills & B&M....

Just waiting for my gardening book to come and then I can finish my sisters bday hamper... blooming Tescos:mad:
