    Hi Rusty
They look just amazing and what a good idea!!

Is it hot chocolate, choc chips and mini marshmallows? Have you been able to find cheap (ish) suppliers of the mini marshmallows, I must admit I haven't looked really hard but haven't been able to see big bags of them.

Also is there a snowman soup thread? I must, must do some for my five year old she would love it!! She had her first hot choc with mallows the other day and was in heaven!!

    Ok to steal the idea?

    Thanks
    xxxx:T

I struggled to find mini marshmallows. I paid £1.29 for some supercook ones in end ... then 2 days later found a massive bag of them in baking aisle in sainsburys (their own brand) for 99p and I used nearly a full bag :D

    Hi Rusty,
Love the Snowman soup - I have the cellophane cones, and have seen big bags of mini marshmallows in Tescos, but where did you get the candy canes from??
    Thanks!

Hi Pidge, thankyou. Most su[permarkets have the candy canes in at the moment, however I picked mine yup yesterday from B&M home stores and they were 69p for 15 which is cheapest I have found them. Morrisons do 12 for £1.99 but they are bogof aswell.

  • :j yippee i have finally finished my first hamper style gift for a friends birthday!! (unfortunately no pictures though):j

instead of a basket i used a "Happy Birthday" plate as a base- 99p
    vodka chocolates- 59p
    i love cats mug- 49p
    bath bomb- 49p
    smarties birthday cake- 2.99
2x sock muffins (one sock in each lol) 1.20

instead of wrapping with cellophane (as i only have some with xmas trees on...lol) i used pink wrapping paper in the same way you would cellophane and i have to say it looks really good!!!! im very impressed with myself and cant believe how nice wrapping even with paper in that style looks! the ribbon looks good too and finishes it off nicely. very pleased with my first attempt just wish i could have got a picture

Cant wait for the xmas hampers to come together now :T :T :T :rotfl:
:jTrying to save as much as i can :T
Have started my christmas hampers :-)

:oOhhhh deeee-er! Another thread to add to my 'research' :D BUT...here goes my brain again...

Do you think the snowman soup would work with a sachet of cappacino, chocolate sprinkles & a cinnamon stick as an adult version?
Also I saw someone mention WHITE CHOC..not seen this so a map required if available :p ..cuz one of my lot doesn't 'do' drinking choc but likes white choc, so think I might put temptation their way

Again..brain ticking over, but these would make excellent fillers for those peeps:-
going on winter sport type holidays after crimbo
    moving house this season
    getting married this season
    pamper hampers
    winter b'day party bags
    get well soon

Yay! Proving Snowmen are not just for crimbo :D
