Lillian, thanks for the voucher. Just got myself 3 ... yes greedy I know, but I did this with the gadget show ones recently and used each and every one of them for some stocking fillers etc :D ... Anyone who is ordering anything remember quidco as it is something like 15% (can't remember without looking sorry)

Update on the situation: I had an appointment with a solicitor at 11am today ...
Solicitors was a disaster, waited 25 mins to be taken up the stairs by her receptionist, I walked into the solicitors office and there sat the dragon who was representing my ex :rotfl::rotfl: (Because he lives so far away a local solicitor is appointed to represent him in court!) Out of all the solicitors in Blyth I managed to choose the one who represents him! Damn! Anyway she was nice enough to book me an appointment over the road at a different practice and I have a new appointment of 4pm this evening so fingers crossed! Thanks to all of those who have sent PM's wishing me luck ... the way it is going I need all the luck I can get lol

Rusty, what a nightmare: Hope things go better this afternoon for you!

Done a spot of shopping on the weekend at instore and got lovely DVD boxes for £2.50 and their on 3 for 2 lots of colours. I bought a black one for my dbf and im using this as the box for his hamper plus he needed somewhere to store his DVD's. I think they will hold 15 DVDs. They also have the CD holders at £2.00.

I also bought a clear jar with green lid (bit more festive) to put his retro sweets in and these came in at £1.

Thanks Kle :) Hopefully this afternoon will be fine!!!

For those doing foody type hampers I thought I would tell you about this ...

Jamie Olivers Journal in WHSmiths is £1.99 this is online and also instore, however I couldn't get it to work online so went instore and it is scanning at 99p even though marked up at £1.99. It is basically a notepad with a few pictures in and a jamie oliver cover. but at that price it is ideal. I picked one up for OH :)

I managed to get loads of NUFC goodies today aswell from soccer direct and most were 50% off marked price so this made them a lot cheaper than buying from the NUFC shop which is great for me as I know they are still proper items. :D managed to get a massive cup, a pint glass with a beer towel and some beer mats. some top trumps nufc cards, a nufc teddy, a keyring and a pin badge and it came to just under £15 however the RRP should have been over £35 so I am chuffed :D

I bought the Jamie Oliver journal from WHSmiths for 99p. I have also ordered the Jamie Oliver At Home book (half price on line but not instore - crazy how prices vary!). I have bought these for OH to go in a hamper with chilli oil and a couple of food things from Boots (one is olives can't remember what the other is!) which I will use points for.

  • 1 finished attempt at a cheap xmas pressie. Pics aren't good as my mobile is rubbish and my wrapping technique is just as bad lol.

1st measley attempt at cellophane wrapping which has gone rather pear shaped but I give up on the box I can't figure out how to make it better yet without going bald... just as I managed to fold the sides all tucked in neat, I go towards the back and then it all goes balls up and gets stroppy:rotfl:

Hope things go off better this afternoon rusty.
