Ok so far Ive got, 2 mint aero choc bars, 2 lynx shower gels, a lynx set, a small poker set, 2 adidas face washes and ive put it all into a grey basket. I need another few things to add to it, just to fill it up. Any ideas?
I went into the Celtic shop today but everything was too expensive, a mug alone was £7.
Thanks

If you have a SoccerWorld near you they do stuff relating to the big teams, and its pretty cheap. There doesn't appear to be anything on the website, but i've definitely seen stuff in the stores, like mug/coaster sets, scarves, calendars etc.

On a less happy note, I can't find hampers/baskets anywhere. My wilkos doesn't seem to stock any, and despite being in London, I can't seem to find nice and cheap baskets anywhere! Grr!
Hi Maggie Bob
Which Clintons is it cause if it's not Too far away I may have to go as I have been looking evrywhere for some decent small teddies to go on top of mugs with chocs that I'm doing for a stall at my local primary schools christmas fair

It's in the City of London, near St. Paul's Cathedral, so a bit of a trek.
If you do want to go to it, pm me and I'll give you more detailed location. In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -

i have been quiet on this forum so far this year as my stupid computer wouldn't let me post (it kept saying my reply was too short even if i had written loads) have now figured it will let me post if i quote someone else in my reply! so sorry for my random quote above!
i am off work ill at the moment, have a stinking cold and bad headache but daytime tv is driving me crazy so am using the time to plan my xmas hampers! have made a list and was wondering if any of you lovely people have any ideas of bits i can get to go in them:
my mum and stepdad and the inlaws - budget £20 each hamper - romantic night in theme - thoughts so far - wine, glasses, chocolates, a dvd or maybe a voucher to rent one (anyone know if blockbusters do gift vouchers?), a voucher to say we will babysit
my 15 yr old sister in law - £10 budget - something girly, no idea what, maybe a pink theme? although she also likes boxing so maybe something along those lines? she is so hard to by for!
my 14 year old brother - £10 budget - have ordered some top gear books from the book people, am going to make it a car theme, anyone seen any cheap car bits about?
my 7 year old brother in law and 7 year old niece - £10 budget each - ideas so far: PJs, bubble bath, have ordered them both a personalised soap from mariahs bath products (found the link on here somewhere), book, not sure what else, no idea what they are into really!
my friend (actually a birthday hamper not xmas) - £10 budget - she has an allotment so i'm thinking maybe using that as a theme, possibly things to keep you warm at the allotment on a cold day! - have a hat and gloves that i got in the jan sale and have been saving to use in the right hamper, think i will put those in. maybe a flask? not sure what else? anyone here got an allotment?!
my friend (she is my secret santa for xmas) - £10 budget - thinking a girlie night in/pamper theme - have ordered a set of 3 books from the book people - sex and the city, lipstick jungle and something else i can't remember, may split them and put one or two in, not sure what else? i have ordered the bits to make flannel cupcakes so probably one of those.
also want to do a xmas eve hamper for my 3 year old girl - PJs, bubble bath, soap, book, reindeer food etc. i'm sure theres a poem that goes with the reindeer food but can't find it now - anyone know what i'm talking about!?
sorry i know i have asked lots of questions but i am getting very excited about all these lovely hampers to make!0 -

I've just finished a girlie night in hamper, this is probably a bit outside your budget but I put in:
HMV £10 voucher inside a DVD case with pics of girlie films on the front (I got the voucher free from Pigsback points!)
Two nail varnishes
Two Jemma Kidd nail files
Two mini bottles of Rose wine
A bar of Sex and the City theme Galaxy (you can still get these in main shops although mine was 69p from Quality Save)
FCUK mini shower gel and body spray (part of a set from Boots that also had mini body moisturiser, was £6 with a free washbag worth £9 that I can keep for another present)
Two popcorn boxes (Ebay)
Box of microwave popcorn (Quality Save)
Two face packs (part of a pack from Boots, £2.99 for 4)
Hope there are some useful ideas there!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

thanks lilian, some really good ideas there, i saw your dvd cover and it looked really good, very professional! may use that idea for my 'romantic night in' hampers too.
i have just been over to the techie board for some advice on my posting problems and have now installed firefox, so hopefully i should be able to reply properly from now on!0 -
