Shellybee, gorgeous mugs well done. Hope you gave your OH what for for eating a toblerone

I haven't even thought of teacher pressies, something else to add to my very long 'to do' list :rotfl:

Sounds like my OH, 'yep I'll do it' and then he doesn't  Usually when the kitchen bin needs emptying...
Yeah well DS did go for the milk for me and I got him to empty kitchen bin as well. It's no wonder I'm always slipping him treats as he is a lot more helpful than OH!

Thanks Mel. Thats what it is called :)

Savingholmes thankyou will have a look next time I am in. I am desperate to get these wrapped then I can tick them off the list. Have decided to take a couple of things out of the baskets and then they can be off each other. i.e for my son off his sister and for my daughter off her brother :)

Gives me more money to spend on different things lol
If you can't get chalk you can always pm me and I buy and send you some...

    Hi guys,
I have just spent the best part of a day looking thru the AMAZING hampers/boxes/bags etc that ppl have made!! Now i have been good getting things in the sales and so on and am just about ready to rock n roll!! I need a favour tho- anyone know of any good ideas for male pressies! And by this i mean not beer/choccuies or car things! I nee dsome mens fillers and also some family fillers- hampers for the aunty/uncle/cousins are all going as one family hamper.
So any ideas would be most appreciated! Bear in mind I am in Northern Ireland and we dont have Home bargains over here :(

    Male pressies:
Some ideas from what I've bought OH....

I've bought my OH kit motorbikes the very small variety to put together
or a model of his favourite Ducati motorbike
    Whisky - single blend
    Favourite chocs
Watermans sell little boxes of magnetic toys for a £5 - one is 0s and Xs and you can make shapes with them - of course I stole it back off him and use it at work myself now!!:rotfl:
If you have kiddies - a snowdome or picture of kids pref in a I love Daddy frame or mug or mousemat
Lara Croft poster, tie etc or similar
DIY pressies - whether he likes it or not:rotfl:
A special mug - Wilkinsons have got some saying Hi Gorgeous or Hi Handsome - you could then fill them with treats
Believe it or not my hubby likes the smell of lavender - so before now I've bought him incense sticks!!
    Wind up torch
    Bike stuff
    Motorbike stuff
DVDs, Popcorn (could make DVD hamper) - however I ate one box already so perhaps you shouldn't buy too far in advance:rotfl:
Journal plus journal in a jar or joke jar or melted snowman (see gifts in a jar thread) or nothing jar
I'm considering a Harry Potter hamper
Book hamper - Christopher Paolini has his new book out Brissinger
Socks, clothes (my choice of course):p

    Hope that helps

Random question but could we have a new thread? One for completed baskets / nappy cakes only? No discussion of, just pictures and a post from the creator!

I love reading the discussion aswell, but somtimes I want to just flick through the pictures to pinch (I mean look at....) some ideas :D

Salduck, your bargain hunting is amazing! I never seem to be able to do this.

Although today I picked up a high school musical selection pack (stationary) for £4.99 which I was happy with :D

O.k, Im doing a Plymouth Argyle hamper and a High School Musical hamper. Does anyone have any idea what I can use as the hamper? Really dont want to use wicker baskets as dont think the kids will appreciate them. Thought somthing themed would be more interesting.....
