  • Wow there are some fab hampers in this thread. I made 2 last year for my grandparents and they absolutely loved them ( My nanna was in tears! ) so I've decided I'm going to make some again this year. I loved going out and buying bits and pieces for them and think its a lovely personal thing to do. Just bought some cellophane off ebay ( I never even thought of checking there last year so ended up spending a fortune on a silly little amount ). Now going to see if I can find some reasonably priced baskets... anyone know a good place to start?

    Thanks !

hello everyone I have not posted on this thread before but read everyday. I love all the excellent baskets its really inspired me to have a go myself.

for all those that are doing kids baskets I've been in woolworths today and they have a lot of crafty stuff for kids at half price, I bought

set of fluffy top pencils 6 pk £1.00
pk of 10 small play dough £1.50
    2pk of safety scissors 75p

but they had lots of other stuff cross stitch and all sorts. I also picked up some good bargins in primark.

Thanks for this, I am doing a crafty box for my OH's friends children (suggested by Rainmac) and these will be fantastic to add in. Also thinking about 2 little make your own wand and tiara kits from ELC :)
