Sorry if this has already been posted.

Tesco here had 6 little bottles of bubble bath that looked like ice cream cones for £1 earlier.

I was thinking they could be split and would make a nice little extra for a girlie hamper? They'd go nice with the flannel/sock cupcakes too.

I have bought 2 yellow stretchy men (well a friend got them from Bazaar Hawkins for me) to put in my boys' stockings with the poem that someone posted on here (think it was pinkladymel - apologies if it wasn't). I love the idea of seeing where they can take them and what photos they take. Just have to find the poem now:rotfl:

Melon78, can I be cheeky and ask what those strawberry 'delicious' cases are called.

I had a long look on Ebay but have no idea what they are called to look ffor them.

    Many thanks in advance.

    P.S. They look yummy! :D

Thanks, they're just 'muffin cases', do a search for that and i'm sure you'll find some.

I have been up thinking hampers again! Its my dads birthday coming up and I have a tight budget of £10.

I have already bought him a book, for christmas he is getting a foody hamper to share with mum and a golf hamper.

He loves chocolate so I was thinking maybe green and blacks if budget will allow. I thought I could make him a triple layer individual cake too. Any ideas of anything barginous I could put in? He is into gadgets and works in an office.
If not too far over budget, green & blacks do flapjack style cookies on sale in tesco for £1.88?

Hi all, love the new pics of hampers they are so lovely. Was in Asda in Milton Keynes today and they had the hat boxes, lunch tins and the cute doggie boxes mentioned in some earlier posts. They also had some wicker type waste paper bins reduced from £3 to £1.87, I bought a couple to make into hampers, they had 2 different colours and they are square ones so should be ideal. will let you know how they work out. Thanks to everyone for so many great ideas.

I love this thread. I already have presents for this year sorted, but got so excited with this idea that I've started saving bits and pieces to make baskets next year.

I've realised I've collected a lot of freebies which don't LOOK like samples :D And so many things in shops can be split and added to different baskets.

    I can't wait!

Morning all, hope everyone is well!

I could do with some suggestions ... My OH's friends daughters need a christmas pressy from us, both are girls obviously ... one is 4 and the other will turn 2 in the beginning of december. I keep thinking about picking up some of them lovely boxes from asda with the cat and dog on. They both share a room so I could make them up a goody box to share but is this really fair at that age? I thought about making a door hanger for them. And that is as far as I have got so far. The eldest is into princess's fifi and the flowertots and pretty much all things girly.
    Any help?

What about a dressing up box? You could raid a charity shop of anything white or pink or lacy and add a couple of pound shop bits like glittery shoes and tiaras etc.

    Morning everyone
Well I spent ages last night going through all the pages, I'm sure I saw or maybe I dreamt that someone had done a really lovely hamper using Orange and Black if I remember rightly there was Chocolate and shower gel in there and I'm sure I saw whiskey to!

Not sure if I can help, I'm rubbish with girl presents having two boys ;)

I don't see a problem with them sharing a box and the box from Asda with the cat and dog on is gorgeous!

Could make them a craft box - playdough for the 2yo and more grown up stuff for the 4yo - some pens, card/paper, stickers?

A box of stuff for their room as you mentioned - a door hanger (obviously!), a story book each, socks, hair bits (if they have long hair), chocolate coins...

    Any good?
