HI all lovely baskets as always, u r a clever lot.......
I was in tescos this morning and noticed the tesco paddle ( 2 bats and ball)sets reduced from £2.50 to 37p!  Our tescos is really small and was surprised to see them. I bought 3, 1 formy children, and 2 for parties they go to....suppose they would also be good for hampers. they also had swings for just £5.....bargain

Melon - love the garage
Rustyflange - the kids look gorgeous...
Mary43 Thanks for the tip on the gardening journal. It all looked a bit serious and scientific for the person I wanted it for (mid 20s). It gave me the idea of looking further on the internet for answers tho and I went to BBC gardening instead and downloaded their garden in a year which had ideas for each month. I'm going to try and get some Jan - Dec dividers (or make some) and then put them in there. I then came up with 12 of my own ideas to put in a journal (will post a pic when it's all come together).
For my mum for christmas - I also printed off the BBC Gardens timeline which is a potted history of gardening from Roman times until now. My OH wasn't impressed with the amount of ink used but I think she will enjoy the thought it showed - and altho she uses a computer - she is more likely to read a paper version. Just need to find a nice way of presenting that now too!
Whoever tried to give me the tip on how to make the pictures bigger - the link didn't work for me - and when I experimented with photobucket again I still couldn't get any improvementAnyone willing to give it another go at explaining it to me?

Thanks Cookiedough.
Your hampers are adorable! Can't believe how lovely the cups are when they were so cheap! Just shows how well these boards pay off. Also love the way you have used the spoon and also the mini whisks over the cellophane ... I may steal that idea on my cooking one if you don't mind. (tis very clever)

before uploading pics to photo bucket click the drop down menu and select large then select picture etc
when posting a pic to this thread find the picture in your photobucket and left click on the bottom box under the picture IMG code then paste onto your message
Does that help??

Some of the pages on the journal I wouldn't want, nor would ex foster girl who I'm doing a gardening hamper for next birthday so I was just going to print out the pages that I (and she) would use and not do the other bits.Mary

I got two of these for my boys for Xmas in Asda today and they have been reduced to £1.50
Also got some hat boxes, reduced, don't need them for Xmas but will be able to put them to good use next year. Think they were £2.81 for 2 patterned ones, they are lovely. Got a pop-up-tent for the garden for £3.24 - was £12.97. Going to put this away for next year. Got a blue perspex bowl for 63p, was £2.50. Going to use it for my son's DVD hamper - add DVDs, popcorn, popcorn boxes. Bought some musical instruments for DS1 for Xmas. £2 per item - triangle, wooden train whistle, shaker eggs & some other thing I can't remember. Just need a drum now and his music box will be finished! Also bought two small torches for stocking presents for £2 each. One Toy Story, one Cars. Bought other things that I can't remember, I had a good old look around:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
