Can't believe you can make one in 20 minutes! I reckon that could cost £40-50 to buy elsewhere. I think you could charge at least £25.
Sorry your stall is a no goer for tomorrow, the weather has been awful today hasn't it. Don't think it's stopped raining here all day. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
thanks rusty if i get stuck again i will shout
sorry about your stall0 -

I'm an old proI looked at the prices on ebay, amazing how many don't sell but that is possibly down to the postage etc. I seem to be selling them on other forums I go on I guess cause a lot of people haven't heard about them
We win some we lose some I guess ... least I have plenty ready made for selling or for another stall somewhere else. Been awful here aswell .. shame cause I wanted to take the children out. Are your plans for the weekend now off?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Whew!! Just catching up on posts
Rainmac - your hampers sound brilliant, can't wait to see photos.
Maria - glad your little one enjoyed school
Threelittlepigs - I would put cello on the tool box
Rusty - so sorry your site is flooded out, hopefully they do it regularly so you could maybe try again, although hopefully you may get enough orders for quite a few beforehand and then will have to make more. Your nappy cake is beautiful as usual - love the slippers.
Thanks to everyone who posted bargains such as Green's Choc; Tesco tins chocs etc. I will have to pay Morrisons a visit to see the baskets and get some Green's choc bar, problem is ours is only a small one and I never seem to have much luck finding stuff after reading about them on here0 -

We've been invited to a 40th birthday party so I thought.... great excuse for a retro sweets tin! Planning some other things too, but I'll update you on them when Iv'e done them. I'm really chuffed with it - contents list and prices below:
Tin £2.25 (Asda)
Pez sweets £1.19
Curly Wurly 18p
Candy sticks 10p
Love Hearts 25p
Fruit Fizzers 7p
Nougat 38p
Catherine Wheels 65p
Sherbert Fountain 25p
Dairy Milk 15p
Opal Fruits 10p (Asda)
Milky bar 29p
Chew bar 10p - Black jack
Fudge Bar 15p
Swizzels 18p
Dip Dab 25p
Total price inclusive of tin £6.54:cool:
I bought another tin - as I think I will do another one for someone's 30th later in the year. I think next time I will miss out the pez sweets and the nougat and come in around £5. I think I may take a new photo and put on the presents for a fiver board minus those 2 items!:rotfl: Nope didn't work without them as tin looked half empty - could try the Haribos big sweet packs in Asda currently for 50p?
I also managed to get DS a no-fear rucksack for his birthday from Tescos for £5 (was £10). Ultra-cool black with white and grey writing and a small skull. He will love it! And it's nice and big and impressive once it's wrapped up!:DAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
