    hi,

boyfriends son [16], not really sure what to do for him?

How about a CD/DVD cleaning kit with film or voucher for film or cd headphones for ipod, gadgets etc displayed in a storage box
or an accessory one with belts, hats, scarf, bag, badges, some lads even wear eyeliner now!
computer accessories mouse mat, mouse, cleaner, dvd/cd rewrites, earphones
or a similar one for games
The young lads my girls hang around with are either as trendy as they are and use lots of accessories or totally football and car mad!!

Thank you think he would like something along the lines of the computer accessories.

Tea/treat hamper - could add a lovely mug, her favourite tea, some nice biscuits, put items on a tea tray.

Boyfriends 16yo brother - basket with dvd or rental vouchers (from Blockbuster or similar), popcorn, crisps, couple of bottles drink, sweets.

Other brother wine - Asda and other supermarkets sell small bottles wine (would get about 4 bottles for about £5) so you could have a variety of wine, could add couple of wine glasses, maybe some cheese & biscuits?

Aunties son - Home Bargains have had beer buckets for £3. Think Wilkos have them too. Could fill with few bottles lager, nuts or crisps? I'd pack the bottom of the bucket with shredded paper or something so you only need to fill the 'top' of the bucket. Does he have a car, could do a car wash bucket.

Aunties son/girlfriend - could do similar to 16yo or how about a bottle wine and food components so they can cook their own meal - e.g. italian theme - tin tomatoes, jar herbs, pack spaghetti, recipe for spag bol, maybe packed into a colander (that they can keep for their new home) with a bottle of italian wine?

    Any good?

thank you all these are good ideas.really like the idea for the wine hamper.

I have two sons and have bought the beer buckets from Home Bargains.
For the youngest one so far I have bought a film boxed set
Box of popcorn from 99p shop (date is fine)
    Going to get Doritos & Dip/Sweets & Chocs/Cans of Lager/Cans of coke
plus anything else I think of.

The other one likes Jack Daniels so in the bucket I am going to put a small bottle of Jack + some cans of coke
    Poker Set £1.99 Home Bargains
Some Jack Daniels Poker Chips & Cards from ebay
Box of Popcorn from 99p shop
    Have to get Sweets/Chocs etc.
I would have liked to get a green visor but don't want to pay more than £1 as can't see it being used much

I expect I may find a couple more things to pop in;)

I am doing a car wash bucket for dh & fil.
    Grey Bucket 99p Home Bargains
Red/Black & Grey Wheel Brush Home Bargains (can't remember how much but no more than £1)
Bottles of Screen Wash/ Car Wash all Homebargains
    Sponge & Chammis Poundland
    Smelly for car
    Interior car wipes 99p store

Also doing dh & fil the sweet boxes - so far only got boxes from Wickes

Sons will have a wash bag box filled with 'useful' smellies/shave gel/razors etc I have been buying throughout the year - these I would have to buy anyway so they will just get a bulk of them at xmas which is another parcel to open:rolleyes:

hi thank you for give me some ideas to think about.

Thanks threelittlepigs. The baskets were a set of 3 from Wilkos £9.99 but had 50% off them so paid £4.99 for 3 that sit inside each other.
