  • Rusty I love those hampers so cute! I'm going to do something similar for my other halfs sister who is expecting her second child in Feb. Just got to wait until Sept 16th so we know whether to pick up pinks things or blue things hehe.
And don't worry I've make sure he takes his credit card and his debit card and his arms to carry everything!!

BMF - I've just moved down South. I'm originally from west Norfolk where everyone is tight and there is a Poundland, Netto, Lidl, Aldi and teh other half told me there would be the same thing here and there just isn't. People down South seem to have no trouble paying more for things hehe.

Oooh thats my sons birthday ! that could be a sign lol

There are some cheaper shops down there ... you just have to look hard to find them I used to love the next little place next to havant called emsworth and they had some cheapy shops there which were great.

Mine sell for about the same :) failing that if you have an ikea locally then they do some nice ones for 20p :)

Well she doesn't care whether she has a boy or a girl (she already has a little girl who will be 2 by then). Her husband on the other hand really wants a boy.

To be fair we haven't explored everywhere yet. Just wish I could see a couple of cheapy shops to feed my bargain hunting need hehe.

the teddys are on the toy aisle in my local one, not been to another asda to see if they are also on the toy aisle but I imagine they would be??? all different ones.

I don't make a lot of profit on any of them Crystalclear but I enjoy making them. My £4 ones seem to be selling well at the moment and there is a pic below.
    DSCN2587.jpg

    contents:
4 nappies - 44p ( I buy nappies that are on offer and always work out which is cheaper between huggies and pampers, 99% of the time they work out at 11p a nappy)
    1 Muslin square - 75p
    socks - 42p

    Total of products - £1.61
then cost of bands, ribbon, cellophane
    Bands - 2p
    Ribbon - 30p
    cellophane - 25p
curling ribbon 3p (3p a metre I use a metre to wrap them

Total cost is £2.21 and so I make a rough profit of £1.79 but sometimes I can't get socks that cheap etc so it evens itself out along the way.

Not a craft fair as such, more of a car boot sale but a lot of them don't allow new items to be sold and this one is mainly new items. I am armed with loads of the smaller ones and then one of each of my 6 designs.
Thanks for the luck I think I will need it lol
