Thanks so much for the free star link Maria, done them for my 2 boys and a friend for her birthday. Printed the certificates off and going to get them laminated. Brilliant for next to no cost:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
hi msmoo
here is the list of sweets and the picture of the finished hamper:
Honeydukes is the sweet shop at Hogsmead (the magical village in Harry Potter). I have got a cardboard box that is stamped 'by owl post', and I have made some labels on the computer to re-label various different sweets as the sweets mentioned in the Harry Potter books (had to use some artistic license for some of them, lol).
So I have Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans (Jelly Belly Beans), Fizzing Whisbies (Flying Saucers), chocolate wizarding money - gold galleons, silver sickles, bronze knuts (chocolate coins), chocolate mice (couldn't get frogs), butterbeer (small bottle of pop), licorice wands, invisible mints (Fox's Glacier Mints), chocolate golden snitches (Ferrero Rochers with the little brown case and label carefully removed, just leaving the gold foil), stinging basilisks (super sour snakes) and magic dust (popping candy).
I've taken them out of the original packaging and made small packages of each (didn't want him to have TOO many sweets...lol), wrapped them in brown paper, and stuck the new labels on.
Hope he likes it!
The Honeydukes hamper (Ryan had unpacked it a bit before I got chance to photograph it!):
That is brilliant :T:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Lovely baskets cookiedough!
Just to let you all know I have just been to my local morrisons (its a tiny one) but they have their baskets all reduced. Some are £12 for 4 but I saw a stunning set for £4.99 and there was 4 in there and fairly big ones aswell. It may be of use to someone.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

An eraser to make mistakes disappear
A packet of straws so he's never down to the last one
Marbles to replace the ones he's lost
A soldier to fight his battles
A mask for when he needs to be incognito
A plane for when incognito's not enough
String to keep it all together
Chocolate for when the worst has happened
Fortune cookies so he can see what's coming
A rain poncho for when the s**t starts flying
Glasses cleaning wipes for clarity
Glucose sweets to perk him up
Prunes to keep him going
A fan for moral support
