Finished baskets!!

Hi basketers
I'm still in awe of all of your baskets, and if I get a camera before Christmas, and the cellophaneI'll show some of my efforts - if I can ever make some order out of this chaos that hamper making creates lol.
I just wanted to say that I was back in bodycare (the toiletry shop) and there were some odds and ends that might help to bulk out those unfinished hampers.
It looked as if there'd been some Dove, Lux and Lynx gift boxes that had been disassembled (if that's a word lol), and they were selling Dove slippers, the waffle 'hotel' type, for 25p in white, with a navy ribbon. They didn't look expensive, but they didn't look like they were only worth 25p either! The same for Lux. The slippers were bright pink, open toed type, and more expensive at 29p
There were some Dove sponges/exfoliators at 19p. Good value as one side exfoliates and the other side spongesand act as cheap packaging if you're trying to add some height to the hampers.
For 19p there was also some blue Lux Star Shine Bags - they're like a small waterproof toiletry bag with small pockets. (Blue ribbon on them.)
They still had the 19p heel carriers at 19p so I bought a few more. At that price it would have been rude not to lol. They had some bog standard flip flops for 19p too.
For 29p, there was some neat little stocking fillers for girls. They consisted of a small pack with a sachet of foot lotion, a tiny pink nail varnish, toe separators, and a nail file - all pink but funky pink.
Lastly, for bodycare at least, there was something described as a 'Lynx Pillow Case' for 29p. It was, in fact, a pair of pillowcases with a picture of a model's face, but had Lynx printed on the corner in bold blue writing, but let's face it, 29p for a pair of pillowcases? I couldn't resist but still not sure what I'll do with them - well worth 29p a pair of anyones' money neverthelessand I'm sure someone will know what to use them for.
Finally, M&S must be selling their £1 toiletries off nationwide? I noticed there was a lot more choice in the Aloe Vera range.
Hope this helps any 'last minuters' and if I've forgotten to thank anyone, it's not because I don't like your hampers. There's just so many of them.
Thanks everyonex

I forgot to add that Poundworld had the metal type caddy (?) (the ones that look like fruit holders), for - ta da - a £1
They'd make good holders for mens toiletries - more 'butch' looking lol, but would work just as well for girls/ladies and can be used as caddy's for fruit afterwards.
ETA: They were also selling "Shilpa The Biography".Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

My daughters would also love one of the yes/no dolls. Would anyone mind sending me 3? I would cover ALL costs. There isn't any stores up here in Scotland. Thank you!

Me too! There aren't any stores down south either and these dolls look so cute! If anyone is happy to act as a personal shopper I'll cover all costs too.
xx
I can't believe how often I check this thread to drool over all your wonderful baskets - any advice for an addict! I think any present I receive is going to seem disappointing after all the lovely gifts you come up with. Still can't wait to start putting my hampers together next week - still after one or two attempts find the cellophane tends to get the better of me!0
