Have been toying with the idea of lining cellophane with tissue but when my cellophane order arrived this one was actually opaque so perfect as I don't want folk to see what they've got before the big day and some are being delivered to family who live away beforehand.
  • They are fab!!

    Your hampers are great pobby!!!!!
I am like you, I love doing them. At the moment I am working on 2 High School Musical hampers for my two daughters. I have bought HSM storage boxes from "the Works" (had to go to 3 stores to get them) and have bought:HSM calendars and HSM stickers (£3 and £1) and will put smellies in and sweets (not HSM) HSM socks etc.

I just want to say that I love looking at all your hampers, such a creative bunch we all are and proud of it...

    SNAP!
I'm doing a High School Musical hamper for my daughter. Shame I don't have 'The Works' near me because those boxes sound perfect. I have Banana bookshop which is similar so will try there.

QS have High School Musical clothes. I think t-shirts are £5 and long sleeve tops £6 and a real bargain as it's buy 2 get 2 free at the moment.
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j
  • excellent hampers pobby - love them wrapped too.

    Hi there Rosekitten

I would be going for a bold colour...dark green, red or probably gold as gold and cream always looks lovely and expensive... its a lovely hamper by the way...

I know you might think im a bit wacky but how about using chocolate brown tissue paper in the bottom to line the cellophane and then a choc brown bow...would look gorgeous....its fab already though...x:rotfl:

Thanks Sugar I'm glad you like them. It's wrapped with some opaque cellophane I got from https://www.flowerhour.co.uk. Like a shimmery colour somewhere between gold and silver (really hard to explain) with a little 'seasons greetings' motif on it. Just tried to find it on their website but they don't seem to have it any more! They do have loads and loads of other gorgeous designs though and not too expensive at all. They were cheaper than my local florist metre for metre, even including delivery and the quality is lovely.
