I was wondering if anyone can think of a little poem I can put on the tag to explain the basket??

I just did a google search and found this site

    A Prayer For Bathtime
    Wash away my worries,
Relax me and renew me . . .
may all my stress just float away
    And peacefulness flow through me.
    Soak me in serenity,
    Soothe every ache and pain,
    Let solitude restore me,
Send my troubles down the drain!

    and

    Leprechaun Dust (Bath Salts) Poem
Do you believe in magic, shamrocks, leprechauns too?
If your answer is yes, then this magic dust is just right for you.
The secret of this magic, will be revealed to you,
Warm water, a touch of magic dust and maybe a candle or two.
Just sprinkle this in water, turn the lights down low,
Lay back, relax, start to dream and let the magic flow
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j
  • Kisto - the basket looks lovely!

I'm sure your DD will love it. Aw imagine her face when she finds the Catz game hidden! :)

Might do something like that for my DD next birthday, shes a 'pink lady' too lol. Then again she flits between 'pink and pretty' and being Doctor Who mad so it'd have to be a mix of the two - a sonic screwdriver nestled amongst nail varnish and fluffy pens lol

  • Daisy2002 – I made up 2 little chocolate baskets for friends, which I had to wrap straight away as my OH thought I was mental mentioning that I wanted to take a picture rather than having his help wrap them up in brown paper to post! I put in mine…

    Chocolate face mask (80p)
Sachets hot chocolate (galaxy from supermarket in one and different flavour options ones in the other)
Bag chocolate coins (£1 for 2 in Wilkinsons)
    Dark Chocolate body wash and
White Chocolate moisturiser (in a set in Wilkinsons for £1.99 but I took them out!)
Coffee coloured body puff thing (Wilkinsons 30p)
6 mini Green and Blacks Bars (split a bigger box!)
Chocolate lip balm (can’t rmember where I found this now though! Think both lush and boots do them though)

    Hope that helps a bit!

I know I said thankyou under some threads but I would like to thank unixgirluk for going to so much trouble to help me out, I wouldn't have had a clue about what my mil would appreciate. Also a thankyou to Ellidee for your suggestions, I had never heard of the white company before. I am off now to sort out a present my mil will love. best wishes Penny

Thought I'd share a pic of the hamper I did for my Gran's birthday (forgot to take a pic unwrapped! sorry).

    Basket 10p (charity shop)
Avon Skin so soft goodies (5 for a fiver) (Avon obviously)
M&S Turkish delight 1.75 (they had an offer on but not sure if its still on)
Tealight candles (a few from a bag of 25 from Poundland)

plus cellophane and tissue paper and ribbons.

Coco butter would be good for a choclate hamper.

I'm doing a hot choc hamper for my SIL and BIL and a after dinner one for my MIL and FIL. Got the goodies to go it it just need to get the baskets now. Was originally thinking of one of the wooden orange crates filled with straw from the veg shop for after dinner hamper, as I got fair trade and organic coffess ect.

Then I've got to get stuff for a bathtime bliss hamper for sis and BIL as both really like smellies.

I'm also doing a hamper for a secret santa but I have no idea what the person the hampers for likes. She is in her 40's, though quiet old fashion, all ideas welcome.

  • Found some great large mugs/coffee mugs in Wilkinson today 99p each, they are white, quite large and there are two designs.
One says Good morning handsome and has black love hearts down the handle , the other says Good morning beautiful and has pink love hearts down the handle.
Have bought OH one and a couple of our friends who I'm totally stuck for, going to find some little novelties to put inside or perhaps make them a chocolate mug with sachets of drinking chocolate etc, then wrap them in cellophane and a bow.
We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!
