I know I said thankyou under some threads but I would like to thank unixgirluk for going to so much trouble to help me out, I wouldn't have had a clue about what my mil would appreciate. Also a thankyou to Ellidee for your suggestions, I had never heard of the white company before. I am off now to sort out a present my mil will love. best wishes Penny

Can anyone tell me if the Yes/No dolls would be very heavy to post please? A friend of a friend knows someone who lives near one of the branches but I don't want her to put her to too much trouble if they are heavy:eek: . Thanks.[/quote

  • Wow!! All the hampers look fantastic, and I am inspired for next year (as I am almost done Christmas shopping for this year!). I normally buy bits and bobs throughout the year - in the sales, particularly for MIL and SIL - it'll mean they look much more like a proper present, rather than a few random bits and pieces :rotfl:

    Thanks everyone for sharing.

  • These hampers are fantastic, well done everyone.

Seeing all these hampers has inspired me... a bit :D
I'm not very creative so im looking for a bit of help, if possible.

I want to do a hamper for my sons godmother.
It will be for her birthday as its her birthday in a couple of weeks.

She's a chocoholic, not sure of her actual age but she must be around 58 years old.

I would like to do a hamper with a 'chocolate theme' but im lost for ideas
Obviously i could put in some chocolate, i have a cup with marshmallows, whisk & chocolate. I would like to add some other things too.

Can you get chocolate smelling shampoo, body lotions or things like that?

    I would like to spend between £15 - £20.
I've already bought a basket & the cup .... great start :rotfl:

I'd be so greatful for any help or idea :)

The key to wrapping with cello is to go in guns blazing! if you faff about with it, you end up in a tizz.

thats what i have found, lost a bit of cellophane being to fussy at first!
