I have lots of different online banking accounts with different banks. I think LTSB is the best (relatively easier and safer compared to others I am uisng).
LTSB (9/10), Natwest (9/10), Tesco (9/10), Ulster Bank (9/10), Halifax (5/10), Nationwide (5/10), First Direct (4/10), Conventry BS (4/10), Metro Bank (3/10), Egg (3/10), Santander (3/10), HSBC (3/10), N&P BS (2/10), Coop (2/10), Cahoot (2/10)....and I think I have too many accounts!0 -
Baclays online is pretty good, i.e. user friendly. You can see back about 3 months of transactions, they lso do faster payments. You don't get to see the postcode of transactions though, I've never heard of a bank to do this. TBH I'd be surprised if any of the banks will do the last 2 years of statements without any charge. Good luck

I mainly use Natwest and Halifax, and have previoulsy used Barclays, Lloyds TSB and Santander. My favourite is Natwest, its easy to navigate and my statements go back to when I opened my accounts, although I dont know of any banks that give you such detailed information on transactions. Also Natwests faster payments are very reliableDebt free and staying that way! :beer:0

Another vote for LLoyds. I've never had a problem with them on-line.
I trust their log-in security which uses a combination of keyboard strokes and mouse-clicks so that if you accidentally download a key-logging virus then you don't give away all the security passwords.
I also use Yorkshire Bank but their log-in is clumsier and the web page has niggling flaws in it. - There's nothing wrong with the actual processing of the money etc. though.0 -
I can't see the time of the transaction anywhere in Capital One's online service, only the transaction date and posted date.toastydave wrote: »I have a Capital one Credit card and in any transaction, you can click on it and see the time and date of the purchase0 -
LTSB, fast and clear to move around, is great.0

Lloyds and Barclays for me are really good and secure. Barclays has one of the safest online banking experiences you can have. Most payments and upgrades etc with Barclays you will have to use the pinsentry which is supplied by Barclays for extra security. It takes two to tango!:rotfl:0

Can you quantify this? Can you prove that their online fraud losses per account are lower than anywhere else?Barclays has one of the safest online banking experiences you can have0 -
I've recently transferred to First Direct after difficult time with Santander. Their online banking is good, easy to reset if you get your password wrong (which is a nightmare with both Santander and Natwest where you have to wait a week to get a new password in the post!). You get £100 new customer incentive if you have your salary paid in and they arrange for all your direct debits and standing orders to be transferred for you. Don't touch Santander - unhelpful and arrogant! Only draw back I have found with First Direct is that their website is all Black & White (and as a user with poor sight find the contrast difficult) but this can be adjusted on my own computer, though not so easy when using public computers. First Direct also do Internet Banking Plus, where you can log in to all your other accounts (credit cards, banks, savings etc) in one place. As I've only been with First Direct a few months I'm not an expert, but they advertise that you have access for six years to statements.0
