I'm late as usual with this one!!
Accomplished quite a lot yesterday, caught up with all the washing (wasn't very well last week so it piled up!), did ALL the ironing from last weeks washes, cleaned the kitchen and had all meals from stores
Today the never ending list includes:
deciding what to do with the organic veggie box contents ....
make a lemon drizzle cake and let DS make some fairy cakes
put the floor down in his room (could be quite interesting :rotfl:)
finish ironing from this mornings washing
maybe get round to listing on ebay...... (not to hopeful though!!)
Better get started :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a good weekend?!0 -
fedupandskint wrote: »Happy weekend everyone. Not that its too relaxing for me as I still have half the assignment to write - starting soon honest!
So this weekend I'll be
Writing another 1500 words
[STRIKE]Referencing[/STRIKE]
Checking
Submitting
Bake a cake
[STRIKE]Put some dough on in the BM
Make a lovely casserole for tea
Drink lots of honey and lemon for this rubbish cold[/STRIKE]
Think that's probably it for me as the assignment needs to be submitted tomorrow and the clocks ticking!
Up to 2400 words and midway through referencing and updating and still writing.
Bread rolls proving ready to bake and then I'll have a break to make a lemon drizzle cake as I'll be in need of a slice or 2 later on!
Taken out some dough from the freezer for a pizza for tea and fridge shuffle around for a topping and maybe some baked potatoes later for lunches in the week while the oven is on depending on how quick I can finish this essay!
Washing on the line with another lot for later then that's about it for this weekend!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
wooohooo! just spent 1/2 hour getting car insurance quotes and managed to shave it down to just over £300 - less than last years, the old timers will know (or at least they did once with all my harping on about it!) that I wrote my car off in the ice in 2009. Am impressed that 30 mins of research gave me this price - its a £100 less than the cheapest quote thru momeysupermarket.com even though its the same insurer! And what with insurance increasing....
very pleased :cheesy:

Hello everyone , sounds like there are lots going on for people at the moment.
This weekend I am running round like a mad person to get sorted before back at work Tuesday.
So far I have :- Been to travel agents to drop in letter from tour company authorising refund
- Picked up brochure for weekend break treat for DDs birthday in July.
- given some bits to a nice lady from freegle
- Bought some food and household essentials from local shops
- Bought DD a couple of !!!!!! francis books from charity shops - she gave up on reading at school because of the poor support for dyslexia but college are really supporting her and she came home and announced she likes !!!!!! Francis so I want to encourage her.
- Check banks - all okay
- sort out Paypal account and pay ebay fees - sorted
- list a stack of broken electricals and some part used perfume (these items sell well so hopefully will have enough ebay cash next week to buy DD the good mattress she needs) - 5 items listed so far on ebay and a couple on ebid. lots of watchers on the ebay items and one bid already
- do some comps - done a few , will do more later
- do some surveys - still to do done a few now , a couple close to paying out
- check for freebies - ordered something yesterday already forgotton what
be a suprise when it turns up
- avoid grabbits
- empty car as going for service monday only just remembered
- put some more stuff on freegle - put on school sports shirt , possible some other stuff later old duvets going tommorow
- sort spare bedroom for me to sleep in while I redecorate mine in a very MSE way.- mmm think i need to get a charity shop here before I can move in
- continue to clear clutter and it goes on and on and on
- heating off as much as possible - nice and sunny today so no problem
- find a nice notebook to record my happiness journey and notes
- look on freegle for things I want
- Spend some time studying and writing crib cards
- chat with freinds and family using free weekend calls spoke to sister , nobody else home
- Do 20 minutes brisk walk daily done - went past mr s and got a few bargains and B+M for some bulbs
Not doing too bad , deleting info off the electricals took ages yesterday and I woke up today with a throbbing headache so a bit slow off the mark today. Gonna make some phone calls the go for a walk to clear my head.
Fair bit done , had been thinking I needed to find a photo offer for my holiday snaps and lo and behold an offer came in from truprint , have ordered 50 free photos for 99p postage. When it rains look for RainbowsWhen its Dark look for Stars0 - Been to travel agents to drop in letter from tour company authorising refund

Afternoon all!
Just back from taking mum's dog back to her after looking after him for her hols. Its a 2 hour each way drive to where we meet to swap him over so a bit of a trek - BUT my sister gave me £15 towards the petrol bless her (its half her dog) and mum gave me £20 to buy a takeaway for looking after him - won't get a takeaway as I'm on a diet but the extra cash will come in handy before payday next week!
Other things to do today- one load of washing
- take dog to the park for a run
- 1 hour school work
- 1 hour marking
- dye hair - first time I've done this for ages (normally done at hairdressers but am skint!)
- hoover upstairs now hoover has come back to life
- make proper Sunday dinner
- stick to diet
