Hello everyone , sounds like there are lots going on for people at the moment.

This weekend I am running round like a mad person to get sorted before back at work Tuesday.

    So far I have :
    • Been to travel agents to drop in letter from tour company authorising refund :D
    • Picked up brochure for weekend break treat for DDs birthday in July.
    • given some bits to a nice lady from freegle
    • Bought some food and household essentials from local shops
    • Bought DD a couple of !!!!!! francis books from charity shops - she gave up on reading at school because of the poor support for dyslexia but college are really supporting her and she came home and announced she likes !!!!!! Francis so I want to encourage her.
    Still to do :
    • Check banks
    • sort out Paypal account and pay ebay fees
    • list a stack of broken electricals and some part used perfume (these items sell well so hopefully will have enough ebay cash next week to buy DD the good mattress she needs)
    • do some comps
    • do some surveys
    • check for freebies
    • avoid grabbits
    • empty car as going for service monday
    • put some more stuff on freegle
    • sort spare bedroom for me to sleep in while I redecorate mine in a very MSE way.
    • continue to clear clutter
    • heating off as much as possible
    • find a nice notebook to record my happiness journey and notes
    • look on freegle for things I want
    • Spend some time studying and writing crib cards
    • chat with freinds and family using free weekend calls
    Wowzer better get going
When it rains look for Rainbows
When its Dark look for Stars

Had hair cut, but not expensive.

Sent OH shopping, and as expected, he came back with several things that were not on the list :rotfl:

OH got lots of free firewood :D It was going to be burned. No good till next year, as it has to dry out, but will save money and keep us warm then :T

Cleaned downstairs, upstairs to do tomorrow

Decluttered some old photos of my Mum's. Just the really blurry ones, the ones where I didn't recognise anyone and those of random camels, elephants etc. Nice to reminisce (sp?) over the old times. Put the ones I want to keep in pretty storage box that I got half price from Smiths :D

Cleaned chickens out, in exchange for 1 egg :D

Put dried fruit to soak to make a fruit loaf tomorrow :)

Took doglets for a walk :)

Washing on line to dry :jWill finish off on airer overnight.

Oh, and made an overpayment on the mortgage :T

I was up waiting for you pixie! :p Happy Saturday :j:j:j feels so good!

This weekend is going to be expensive but I will try to limit the damage as much as possible! Am going out for a meal for a colleagues leaving do & the meal was £25 and then there's drinks and racing - its at the dogs. more than I could afford but wanted to say goodbye to her.... also hoping to meet with dd tomorrow :)

    ok:
    • [STRIKE]checked banking & transferred money to oh for meal last night[/STRIKE]
    • repair curtain track - [STRIKE]will need to buy some DIY stuff but will get from Wilkos ;)[/STRIKE]
    • food from stores all over weekend - [STRIKE]get pork joint out of freezer[/STRIKE]
    • keep eye on cookers ending on ebuy this weekend - if the price is right one of those babies might be mine ;)
    • [STRIKE]check gum tree & preloved for cookers[/STRIKE]
    • make loaf of bread
    • [STRIKE]meal plan for next week and work out shopping list[/STRIKE]
    • massive clean of the house as we are taking pictures to put up on homeswap  - thinking of moving to London...
ooooo yesterday we popped into Mr S for some wine (:T) and they had the deodarant we have 1/2 price so I got 6! & then when I got home I had a parcel delivered with some Wella samples I must have asked for off of the freebies board ages ago :T

ok that seems more than enough for me for the weekend - other than chores I intend to drink some wine, exercise & make sure I laugh LOADS I wish you guys the very same!

oh gawd had to drag us back from page 2! where have the rest of our lovely regulars gone?

so yesterday was so spendy  so need to update my diary to keep track - have been so rubbish at this but need to get back on track

realised we can't cook our friends roast pork as the oven is beggered so will have to nip to the shop to get some chicken breast to do a stove top something or other... might as well get the rest of the shopping for the week as well. will slow cook the pork for tomorrow

I did go to bodypump yesterday which was fun & I am suitably aching today :p

so today the weekend is still on track - hope everyone is happy x

    Hi everyone

Yesterday went well - think I held my own ;) The Power Yoga section was only 45 min of the 3 hour class so not so bad. Phew!

    Today
    • move the £££ I didn't move yesterday - NOW OFFICIALLY V SKINTO!!
    • resist knitting until the place is sparkling - I can too easily sit on the sofa all day and do nothing around me :o
    • resist reading until the place is sparkling
    • tidy tidy clean clean sort laundry change bedding
Treated myself to some daffies yesterday. Going to sit them on the windowsill for a bit of sunshine. Small things make me happy y'see :)

List doesn't look v long but that last bullet point is going to take me all day. Neverending!!
