Good man!
I know the bit about seeing it to the end, relying on them not attending court etc is the advice everyone is giving... and it seems to be working!
But I want my SIX years NOT five and I suppose I am going through that stage that everyone seems to go through, where they think THEY are going to be the one that loses....
By the way, you're in Aberdeen? I lived and worked there for 10 years!

Once again - worth reading this advice before taking any action/posting questions on X-Border claims!

Better to be approximately right than precisely wrong.0 -
Jockaroo, do Clydesdale have a branch in your area? There will be no problem. The unhelpful man at Moneyclaim is simply wrong.0
-
Unfortunately Clydesdale doesn't operate out of Scotland, unless anyone can tell me different...having said that, I seem to remember something about a branch in London. Ring any bells anybody?
I know that they have a connection with the Yorkshire Bank, but not sure what. I think both the above might be worth further investigation...
Cheers. Jockaroo.0 -
UPDATE TO MY LAST POST:
A quick internet search has found TWO branches in London, and better still, one in Cambridge, which is quite close to me!!
Thanks for the prompt!

just sent my letter requesting list of charges to bank of scotland am slightly confused with advice given on website as i live in scotland is it true i can only claim a max of £750 or 5 years of charges under scots law i have been told different things by several people some say they have received over £20000 from scottish banks Please help xx0
-
you can use the moneyclaim on line service if you have an address in England you can use for mail. Any friends.relatives?
I did it this way and got 3k back from 6 years worth of statements. The bank still wrote to my home address, the english address was only used for court forms, and was only used twice.
good luck0 -

I'm sorry to be a pain but i'm still confused can any one tell me what the max claim is in scotland
Some people tell me they have claimed back over £2000 but now i read on the web site the max claim under scots law is £750
I dont have any friends or relatives in England I reckon I must be due around £1000-£1500 but dont know what to expect
Also can the bank close all your accounts with them or just the one you are claiming from as i have 3 accounts with the Bank of Scotland Thanks to all for your help0
