I didn't plan my food last week and unsurprisingly I found myself going to the shops more often and buying things unnecessarily:o. So here is my plan for this week. I'm trying not to go to the shops at all and use up what I bought last week and what I have in the freezer:

Monday: Chicken curry, stringhoppers, sothi and lentils (cooked by my ex-MIL - soooo good!)
    Tuesday: Cottage pie from freezer
    Wednesday: Chicken, crispy potatoes, carrots
    Thursday: out
Friday: Vegetable curry, rice and lentils
    Saturday: Sausage casserole
Sunday: BBQ pork steaks, chips, corn and tomato salsa

As per usual, lunches are sandwiches, soups (got some nice broccoli and stilton), or leftovers and breakfasts are toast or cereal.
:cheesy::cheesy: Cheese… milk's leap toward immortality :cheesy: :cheesy:

    Hi everyone,
I always meal plan and thought I'd post what we are eating. We have 4 visitors since last Friday (DS & family), so DD1 and family (5) have been joining us for meals.
Sat 5th we had portobello mushrooms with hm peppercorn sauce & garlic bread or tomato soup for littles and then hm smoked haddock fishcakes on chorizo with ratatouille for adults or baked chicken for littles
Sun 6th Steak, Mushroom & Ale pie
Mon 7th hm chicken tikka, rogan made with lo pie filling, saag aloo (spinach from the garden)
Tues 8th pancakes; hm meatballs in tomato sauce with linguine
Wed 9th Chicken stuffed with mozarella wrapped in parma ham for 6 adults and chicken with a parmesan crust for 5 littles
Thurs 10th Think visitors will go home:( So, DH & I will have cheese omelette
Fri 11th hm Moussaka from the freezer

Bread making done as required. Leftovers Soup for lunches or snacking.
