sorry to butt in,could you explain the pizza swirls and salad sticks-sounds lovely for a packed lunch:j
I make a batch of pizza dough in the BM and roll it out into a big rectangle. Then I spread it with tomato puree, add cheese, ham, olives, whatever we've got basically, then roll it up like a swiss roll and cut it into about 12 discs. I put them on a baking sheet and leave to rise again for an hour or so, then bake for about 20 mins.
When they are cool, I wrap them individually and freeze them so they are really handy for popping in lunchboxes and will have defrosted by lunchthime.
I usually put in some carrot, cucumber and celery sticks and cherry tomatoes to have with it.
Hope this helps, I think I made it sound more exciting than it actually is!0 -

Hi all, I'm a lurker and very occasional poster on this thread!!! I always meal plan and would stay we stick to it pretty much all the time!!! I'm 100% positive it saves me a fortune!!
Here's the plan for this week:
Sun - had roast pork at Mum's
Mon - HM crispy chicken with HM coleslaw, HM salsa, sw chips and salad
Tues - at OH's parents
Wed - spag bol and garlic bread
Thurs - paprika pork with mash and veg
Fri - lamb dhansak, rice (and salad for me as I only have a bit of rice)
Sat & Sun - both at my Mum's
Monday - fish, sw chips, mushy peas or spicy fish kebabs with chips and salad, depends what we eat at mum's over the weekend!
Tues - at mum's again!!! OH will go to his mum's too.
The paprika pork is a new recipe, I'm also trying a new soup recipe (chunky minestrone) for my lunches and I think I'll have a go at the pizza swirls mentioned on here for OH.
Breakfasts are cereals for OH and porridge for me.0
