Speaking of the HDMI connection issues, when I had tried to configure the sound settings, this message comes up:

I assume this means that the PS3's HDMI port is LITERALLY (100%) screwed up then?

Like I said, if that's the case, I'll sell it off on a break-even basis which is all good and then get a WORKING ONE the next time
