Hey guys
i currently use a Paypal pre pay credit card, which is perfect as i can transfer funds directly from paypal onto the card. But this month Paypal will be scrapping the pre pay scheme . So i'm trying to find someone else that allows topping up via Paypal... no monthly payments and ideally cheap purchase fee...
Any ideas?

Does it have to be pre-pay?
What is your credit rating like - have you considered/applied for any proper credit cards?0 -

Don't think you can use Paypal but it's free unlike the others who charge £5/£10 per card.0 -
It's only free if your an O2 customer and top up minimum £10 every 3 months... i dont use O2 lol0

I was under the impression that the company who succeeds the paypal top up card scheme will also be paypal friendly. Ring them to check. I think the current paypal card is valid til 31 March and new cards will be issued with the new supplier.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. I'd be interested to hear how you get on, Wayneybabe, as I was going to sign up to the PayPal card after months of being bombarded with their advertising messages only to find that they were stopping it.0

Hi I have started doing surveys that pay into a paypal account which I have! But I haven't completed the bank details because I have a basic bank account which I pay my bills by direct debit but I am not sure if I could have money transferred into this account. I also have a Virgin pre-paid credit card would it be possible to have money paid into that ? If neither could you advise please. ThanksLow Carb High Fat is the way forward I lost 80 lbs

I am in the SAME prediciment as OP.
I have the paypal card, happily using it.. was told a month ago I will be sent a new card by the new company who was taking over and they are paypal freindly..
however,
today I have just called paypal top up card cs again and they cant tell me when the new company will be taking over so it seems there will be a gap from paypal card ending til new one starting, whoever it is with. They said they cant even tell me WHO it is because its not confirmed yet!!
SO, luckily for me I AM an O2 customer and didnt know about their prepay card.. only thing is.. how do you top it up??:mad::mad:
Paypal used to be SOOOOOOOO easy.. the money would appear on your prepay paypal card the NEXT WORKING DAY from transferring it.. soo much better than havin to wait 5 days til it went in my basic bank account (that keeps denying me an upgrade to an account with debit card even though I have £1200+ going in every month! grrrrr)
its with HSBC.. I dont want to change bank accounts already done that after DMP in place for other credit card debts I am getting down.
so.. I am in the same boat.. grab an oar!0
